Doesn't matter how bad Anderson or Harmison are if they aren't on strike. Not only can Flintoff play the big shots when batting with the tail, he can also find the singles to keep him on strike for the next over.

You underestimate Jimm and Monty. They are very capable batsmen on their day and one only has to look at their stance to see that thye are no mugs.

It wouldn't be too hard to keep Flintoff on strike either. A bouncer usually does the trick and Lee and McGrath both can bowl it.
