Well in the second ODI, Zimbabwe managed 217/7 from their 50 overs, and Bangladesh are 103 without loss from 20 overs. Surely Scotland won't do this badly?

Well, Bangla win by 6 wickets with 44 balls remaining. Nafees looking brilliant again, slammed 67 off 68. Mehrab made 54, Hasan 36 off 28, Bashar 31 off 27* and Ashraful 4*. Easy win in the end. Hasan took 2/44 with the ball. Rafique 2/34, Razzaq 0/39.
For Zim, Utseya 1/38 off his quota, Williams 61 and 4-0-24-1, Masakadza 41, Dabengwa 8.4-0-38-0
Easy stuff for Bangla.

Zimbabwe have some talent just not all clicking at once. Bangladesh are showing their skills atm especially Nafees with his batting and Rafique, Hasan with the ball.

I would like to see Bangladesh in their current form play India in their current form. I'm sure we could have a few more "upsets".

Bangla are just too good. Zimbabwe folded timidly in the end, last 5 wickets in 3 overs. Williams was good, 68 and 0/35 off his quota. Utseya 1/21, Mpofu bowled well, but the Bangla spinners did it again. Hasan and Rafique went for about 83 off their 20 overs, and Razzaq took 5/33. Nafees scored a quick 37, and Meharab Hossain a slow 30 odd. Seem the ideal pair.

Zimbabwe always seem to manage to produce a few all rounders. Now they have Dabengwa and Williams who both have done a good job for them so far. Their top order has been disappointing though as this was a total they could have chased.

Let's hope Bangladesh bat first or else the Bangladesh batters won't get much of a go. I expected a bit more from their batters but bowling is more their stronger point.

5th ODI Result

Zimbabwe innings: 193/8 (Matsikenyeri 75)
Bangladesh innings: 197/7 (Brent 4/22)

Hopefully Bangladesh A will provide a better contest for Zimbabwe.

They have lost a ton of players since that VB Series including some of their good players like Flower, Streak and Ervine. Right now they are in a rebuilding stage so they will get results like these for a few years to come.
