If Sehwag was the replacement, thank god Dhoni wasn't replaced. I don't know who the successor will be, but Sehwag is not it IMO. Not a long term option and his captaincy tends to be just like his batting - all or nothing.
Well said! If Sehwag was the replacement they thought of, thank god N. Srinivasan flexed his muscle to keep Dhoni in the captain spot. Well done, NSR!

Have a look at this:
'Dhoni and Gambhir laughed off the rift story' - Rediff.com Cricket
Now do you want to smash Dhoni or do you want to smash the Indian media, Yudi?
Even if the rift story is a hoax, there is no denying that Gambhir has been showing lot of signs of being explicitly selfish about his own form and his own success. The way he batted in Mumbai with the tail in that 2nd innings was so annoying and irritating to say the least. And the fact that he ran out both Sehwag and Pujara when he could have backed himself to get the third run (in Sehwag's case) and when he could have bided more time at the crease to get his flow going (in Pujara's case) is all too give aways.
