England In India - October 2011/12

Am I though? I firmly believe that if someone has the kind of hitting power and eye for ball that Raina clearly posseses than there is no reason he shouldn't be able to play Test Cricket, he clearly doesn't try, and that bugs me.
Well he did got a hundred on debut against the likes of Murali. So he did show determination sometimes. But i guess his game is more suited to subcontinental tracks. He needs more time on English pitches. A stint with a county team could hurt but is he really willing to do that? Thats the question

P.S: How old are you mate. :spy .You sound like my old uncle who hates T20:p

Haha, I'm very nearly 30, so I'm not even that old, but I have spent most of those 30 years watching as much test cricket as I can get my hands, or eyes, on :)

Robelinda is pretty much my hero these days. So many awesome memories to look back on, as well as putting pictures to things I only ever read about.

I actually really like 20-20, far more than 50 over cricket. I get bored of 50 over cricket quite quickly. 3 game series are more than enough for me. What I don't like is that some players just don't seem to care about Test cricket anymore, rather they just want whatever makes them the most money and fame. Which is of course their perogative, but it worries me sometimes how much the BCCI drives that incentive, at times to the detrimental health of the overall game of cricket.

Robelinda is awesome. He uploaded some of the videos of the match where Sachin Opened for India first time in ODI's. I was looking for them for a long time but couldn't find em. 81 off 40 balls. Awesome stuff

Mr. Nasser Hussain, see what the donkeys have done! This is jus the start. :D
Carn India!

haha it looks so funny when you English fans find out that England is crap team and can only win at home games. The example and the proof is here. 174/10 against the most crappy bowling lineup in cricket and with only 30% of the Indian team there you get owned and all out for 174. Wow England great job. This is the time to figure out that winning in just England won't do anything. And for those who say that they believe England will win atleast one game, remember India played against full England team and here is only 30% of the Indian team. England is only good at home and crap away. Can't we get series against Bangladesh or something? Atleast they scored 276 against us in India during the world cup so watching the match would be fun.

Aww Sobi, you're so cute.

However, C- for trolling. It's good, but it's too obvious. With a bit more practice you might be able to really push on and go for glory. That is, of course, providing you don't lose interest. Seriously though, go for it dude, what else have you got to live for?

Haha. Is he still going? I've had him blocked for god knows how long now. Every post of his is the same.

Also, I just noticed that Cook has said India outplayed England in this game in all departments. Did you hear that? The 'donkeys' outplayed the Poms even in fielding.:D:p

Even though we won, I'm still not impressed by Vinay Kumar's bowling. Its really shocking to see such a mediocre bowler getting so many chance. Umesh Yadav looked nice and has a really nice action. He deserves as many chances as Vinay got if not more and give Aaron a tweaking game. Okay he's raw and his radar may not be as tuned as PK. But he wont improve sitting on the bench. You wont know unless you try him

"the revenge series" literally laughed at that. How can you take revenge for a test series in a few meaningless ODI's?

I caught the highlights of todays game and the pitch was a disgrace, win the toss, win the game. Not really sure why England decided to go ahead for this series, subcontinent pitches are just laughable these days, so much so that I found it difficult watching the highlights.

Dont blame the pitch mate. It was just that English batsman can't play on a spinning track.

And Indian Batsman can't play on a seaming track. Hence the whitewash. :p

That should seal Patel's fate. Just axe him already! And KP at #5 as someone suggested is the right way to go here in these conditions.

England have failed to bundle out their opposition in their last 7 ODIs. C'mon bowlers, that's a worrying fact to say the least. :/

@jacobfelix: Awesome man, finally you call one right. :p
