England in New Zealand

It was pretty chocka too. Just under 10,000 people were there out of the 130,000 population. Pretty impressive. Seemed to be great atmosphere. I mean, it was a work day and it rained. Good on you Hamilton. They got good reward.

Last year we chased down 340 odd against Australia to win. It's always a belter of a pitch.

The last time we thrashed a side like that was against Bangladesh, except this was an even bigger hiding.

Absolutely awful from England, again. The bowlers got well and trully spanked and the running was akin to animals in an abbatoir. We must make personnel changes. Drop Mustard, bring in Ambrose. Bell can open with Cook and Ambrose play at 6 with Shah at 3. Bopara should be dropped too. Of course we could play Ambrose as a batsman, looking at our squad we don't seem to have a back-up specialist batsman.

whats wrong with the england team??they are getting absolutely trashed by the kiwis.England need to do something bout their batting.

I am not going to make situation more worst for england by making free comments.I still belive england will fight back.
I lost 1500vcash today +3000 vcash on 1st odi+3000vcash for whole serise...7500-my hard earning vcash...
But i am still in favour of ENGLAND...WITH 3-2.....colly n boys just need to regroup n deliver...they need to play some english cricket....

Instead of moaning, I'm going to say New Zealand are awesome under Daniel Vettori.

I agree. At least once Gilly goes.

He's so dangerous.

Wow, that was some great hitting. 10 wicket win is always an absolute belting.

Man Ryder and McCullum were smashing it. Ryder looks good. I take back my concern about him. I just hope he can play more circumspect on tough pitches though. That's his next test.

That's what I want to see from Ryder. We all know he can take attacks apart, but it will be good to see how he goes when the conditions aren't so much in the batsmens favour. Only then will we know if he really is a one day opener. Great innings from him and McCullum tonight though.

They don't need to be as good as they were under Fleming (though that's your opinion), we have been awful. The bowlers were shocking, Broad and Anderson just couldn't control the ball. Didn't Anderson do poorly in Sri Lanka?

McCullum I think is best WK batsmen out there.

Sangakkara!

This is unexpected. Our best ever opening partnership since the one set by Flems and Vincent a while back.

3-2, we're gonna win 3-2!

But seriously, that was hilarious. I can't remember laughing this much at a sporting event for a good while. I'll just go down the Indian route and blame the whole thing on disgraceful umpiring, match-fixing, racism, jellybabies and of course, a tectonic plate movement below the ground that distracted all the players.

Carn England!

Our batting and running between the wickets was shambolic. Sure, New Zealand fielded brilliantly for the most part and bowled pretty well (after the rain break), but I don't think we could've made it any easier for them. I've said it before, but it seems more often than not, this England team rolls over when the going gets alittle bit tough. Todays capitulation is one of the worst and I've not often felt as embarressed as I do today to be an England cricket fan.

We keep hearing how talented these players are, but it's about time some of them actually showed us they can mentally hack international cricket.

We need to get rid of all the crap, Mustard, Shah, Bopara, Swann. None ofthem are good enough for us to challenge in these series. Bring in Rashid as the spinner, we need someone who might turn out to be special. Change Trott for Shah and Mascarenhas for Bopara.
