And though Strauss hasnt been in the best of form in this tour, he will be missed in this final test. He is an excellent batsman and can really get on top of the opposition bowlers.

Understatement, he is soooo out of form. I could have opened the batting for England this series and it would have made no difference.

They should definitely bring in a genuine opener for Strauss. They could put Vaughan up there but I get the feeling it would be a waste of an opportunity.

The combination of Udal and Giles has been amusing, but you've got to ask, what's it doing? Pace has clearly been the more successful attack and assuming this has been a flight test for India, the lack of impact does not bode well.

Actually lahori pitch is the one which favours the swing ballers so I think akhtar, naveed ul hassan ,hoggard and harmison are going to rule the match

Reminds me of a story about when Atherton accepted Botham's challenge to a drinking contest, the night before a Roses match.

He was so far gone, that he went out to toss, came back to the Lancashire dressing room, and couldn't remember wether Lancashire were batting or bowling.

Very good.
Perhaps Atherton is not as dull as i thought although i imagine drinking with Botham could easily make you get carried away.

Harmison isn't really a swing bowler. Hoggard and Flintoff are. England considering 4 seamers seems clever, bringing Anderson and Plunkett in for the spinners makes sense, and we still have a bit of off spin in Vaughan, and even Pietersen, who i know has been working on his bowling.

From the sounds of things Plunkett will replace Udal. Would be good to see Anderson back but it'll be also good seeing how Plunkett goes.

Shoaib Malik will miss the first 2 ODI's,He & Shabbir Ahmed is going to Australia to correct his bowling action as per ICC rules
No Razaaq,Malik & Afridi
3 key players,Hope that Razzaq would be declared fit for the ODI's as per the news he is 85% fit at he moment.....

England can pull a victory out of nothing aswell :p

England have an advantage, depends if the pich in Lahore is a as boring as Multan and Faislabad.

It's a guarantee Drewska, the groundsman would be pissed scared if we won they'd get death threats.

I'd rather have Plunkett tbh, he's got more to prove imo.

The pitches aren't boring, just cause England are losing  doesn't mean that you can blame it on the pitch. We have outdone you guys in many sessions!

Making such a comment after winning the Ashes on home soil is not so clever. You must admit that the Pakistani pacers have been bowling really well and have outdone the English batsmen on two 2nd innings.
