Regardless of the refferals and back to the cricket Edwards is a fine bowler. He's exactly what England need from a bowler.

Well congratulations messers Harper, Tiffin and Dar for turning the referral system into a total joke rather than just a quaint irritant.
Well done KP for keeping his wicket and it could be a cracking days cricket tomorrow depending on a/ when KP gets out b/ how adventurous Strauss feels.

Shows what England don't have. They don't have a bowling attack that's going to bowl good sides out on a flat track. I know it's easier said than done, but England lack a very fast bowler, or someone who can reverse swing, or a really good spinner. As good as Swann is, (he's quite good), he doesn't have the variation or big turn that's needed on a track like this.

You didn't watch James Anderson bowl today did you. He was reversing it better than anyone, well maybe not as well as Zaheer Khan, but he was really getting it to reverse, and reverse late.

Lets hope Rashid does it then.

Guys guys guys. Regarding the latest referral, didn't Botham say that the third umpire hears no sound? IF that's the case it's no wonder Aleem Dar heard nothing.

I did see that. Not quite Zaheer as you said but it was good. However by the time he got it to reverse it was very late in the game. There were periods during the series where he got it to reverse but it needs to be done more.

Agreed, Jimmy has been our best specialist bowler for a while now he has been unlucky

Ps. did you hear Chanderpaul basically admitting he hit it, by refusing to comment :p

Not a good start for Collingwood, caught and bowled off Hinds. We NEED Pietersen to hog the strike and keep going!

Brilliant fielding from Simmons, direct hit would have got him!

Englands problem isnt just there bowling its there batting.
They seem to put there averages first before the team goal.
This pitch has been an absolute road If they had of scored quicker in that first innings it would of put them in a much better position, would of lost a few more wickets but gained an extra 100runs to the total and also given them more time to bowl Windies out in there 2nd innings.

It hurts me to say it but Englands batting lineup looks pretty good only thing holding them back from winning more is they need to try an pick up the pace.

Pietersen's just carrying on from where he left off yesterday, Can't help but feel that it's too little, too late.

That what you wanted to see Lee? Hundred off 80 balls. Was Pietersen at his very best. Brought out all the strokes, that new shot, the French Cricket shot was awesome. What an innings. Prior batted beautifully as well. Pietersen the star of the show though.

2 early wickets as well, and Hinds batting above Chanderpaul. West Indies must be getting nervous, especially if Chanders and Gayle are feeling their injuries.
