I'm not really bothered about the bowling. That always happens when we are bowled out cheaply in ODI's. Even if we bowled well we wouldn't have won.

Nice point, Howsie. I think the team looks strong, and your opener would be Strauss/Trott. Strauss is captain, but I don't think he's all that as an ODI player, even with the fantastic form he has been in, including the hundred the other day.

Cricinfo - Players and Officials - Jonathan Trott

Joe harps on about him, but he is one of the most consistent and good OD performers in county cricket.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!

I am a bit fed up of England now to be honest. They have no backbone whatsoever and are a bunch of whining bitches. Other teams get embarrased like this maybe once every couple of years. It happens to us 3 or 4 times a year.

As little as that! We must hit double figures in some years.

it was decent the man should get what he deserves, part of the ODI.

anyways we should wrap it up tomorrow, and relax in St Lucia.

I wouldn't blame any WI player wanting to make some cash in the IPL, everyone knows the big financial problems the WI board has, probably paid worse than the Kiwi's, that is of course, when they get paid.

So, a boycott would mean a forfeit? A forfeit means an England win? If we win or the match is abandoned tomorrow we've won the series.

I was so much looking forward to this tour last year, it's turned into a shambles!

England need to win tomorrow if they want any chance of wining the series, if Im not mistaken?

2-1 for WI at the moment, if we win the series is ours and I think it increases the chances of the 5th ODI being boycotted.

The West Indies Board needs to sort this out quickly. Finally it's going good with their team and this happens.

And if the senior players aren't getting paid, of course they have to go to the IPL, because there they can at least earn some income, which WICB is currently not giving.

Last time Pietersen was under such scrutiny and certain to recieve flak from the crowd was in South Africa in his first proper series, and we all know what happened there. KP's going to score a glorious hundred today, and make another big score in the final game to prove the critics wrong and lead England home. If I had the money to put where my mouth is, I would place a bet on it. Pietersen will score at least 50 today, but I'm backing him to score a hundred, with an unbeaten 50 in the 5th game of the series.

It'd be good if he just did that without having to lose a lot of neutral supporters :p

The "neutrals" slag him off anyway. He's always had people slagging him off, for seemingly no reason. He's a confident, somewhat arrogant guy that speaks his mind. They always jump on him when things aren't going well, but I'm sure he'll win everyone back round with a few massive innings in this series and leading into the Ashes. This is actually exactly what KP needed before the Ashes I think, something to really fire him up to perform. I'd be watching out if I was the West Indies bowling attack today.

We all know what happens when England have a shocker! Usually they back it up with something good! :p..No need to worry anyway if it does all go wrong I'll go watch Saffas beat the Aussies again :p

Yeh, my saving grace is that if it all goes tits up again I've got nets to go to tonight. So it's a win-win really, just hope England bat first so I can see KP's hundred ;) Just hope we drop Batty for Harmison for this game, be ridiculously stupid if Batty still gets in the side considering the pitch'll be basically the same you'd expect.
