Curtis Davies has had a great season, but Caulker has been one of the best defenders in the league this season for a horrible team. He's easily ahead of Dawson and Davies for me.

Ye basically. Just hope Hodgson has noted his performances & is not blinded by him playing in a relegation side or by the talented or raw form of John Stones. (although I would not have a issue if Stones is picked)

Can't argue with that squad really.

Agree on Caroll and Welbeck 100%, the other 4 are much better options.

One player I wish could have rediscovered his best form would be Joe Cole, loved him at chelsea and he was one of England's first picks a few years back.

Shame such a talent lost his way.

Yea been sad to see how Joe Cole has faded away at Chelsea. Maybe in hindsight he should have stayed at Lille in France, he so wanted to come back to the premier league & prove himself at Liverpool - things just went downhill. His style of play just isnt suited to tactics Big Sam employs at West Ham.

Damn, well its was always a 50/50 choice between him & Shaw - although i was in the Cole camp. I hope Cole's axing for the impressive youth means that Lampard won't get picked also.

Big Ash at his best was clearly the greatest ever England left-back.
