I agree that England should look at someone else other than Redknapp but Wenger is a bit of a strange one. I think it's fair to say he's on the decline as a manager. He peaked when he introduced diets, stats analysis and outside the box roles to the Premiership in the late 90's, early noughties. Now this is the norm for the majority of teams. What's interesting is that Nasri said after joining City that Wenger hardly talks about tactics and it's just about getting good players to play well. Can a manager afford to do this in knockout tournaments? Hasn't really worked for him in recent years.
The options for next England manager aren't great tbh. Hodgson? His style would waste the great talent at his disposal. Warnock? Not good enough and an annoying prick. Holloway? Don't make me laugh.
