As nice as it has been to see Jonny score some runs let's see how he does when he has to play in England, after two months of the IPL.

Vince for me. Experienced captain and can slot into the number 3, averaging 25 slot seamlessly. A Brearley-esque figure allowing others to play in their more favoured positions.

I'd also have YJB back on the gloves.

One thing I would do is throw an England cap at Ben Compton. He looked Test ready playing Notts IIs last year and has been proving it ever since

One thing I did read, regarding an outsider captain, was that on the whole they can't be much worse than what's there already. Which is as probably true.
