i watched the highlights for both T20s. its funny how that south african commentator takes a dig at Eng team being all "united" and a "melting plot"

funny 1 was, "it feels like a south african domestic cricket competition ... Morkel bowling to Trott, KP" *pause* "get it get it"

and then when Morgan came to bat, and got lucky, he goes "Lucky Irish"

Not really. More runs he scores in warm up games, the longer we'll have to put up with a terrible One Day player in the middle order of our ODi team; when there are so many better alternatives around England.

If we ignore the fact that they're dropping like flies at the moment, Trott, Pietersen, Collingwood, Morgan, Prior and Wright just won't fit into that middle order. I can see Trott opening before the series is over.

Yea he's been consistant all right, that average of zero in ODI cricket and 23 in 20/20 cricket is insanely consistant

He's 28 and he's only played two (proper games) for England, that's way too early to judge the man.

Gibbs batted quite low, wonder if it means he will be overlooked as doesn't make sense to move him out of his usual spot.

We need someone who can keep it tight. Anderson, Broad, Mahmood (especially), Plunkett and Rashid can all go for runs. That's where Flintoff will be missed.

I suppose our attack will be Anderson, Onions, Mahmood, Rashid and Wright. Collingwood might not bowl because of his injured back.
