England in still a bit of both with this long tail.
Collingwood, Flintoff and Jones will need to do there bit.
Australia have a good chance with 1 or 2 quick wickets.

Here comes Pietersen's fav job i.e battling for England ;)

Its been a long time i guess for Strauss having scored a huge one.. I think something needs to be done to bring back the form of Strauss.

Otherwise, Strauss wud become a left handed Sehwag :( :p :)

He scored 62 in the second innings of the third test and apart from Pietersen's 182 there hasnt been any other big knock by the England batsmen. (Not considering the first two test matches ofcourse)

In response so Surendar's last post...the only similarity between Strauss and Sehwag is that they are both overweight and unfit and therefore passengers in the field.

Strauss and overweight don't go together. And passengers in the field, dude you on the pills again? Strauss has consistently put it in for England when fielding, as has Colly. Strauss isnt unfit, he is very very fit.

Must admit I did take a few pills tonight, it's not my fault, the PCB never sent me any written documentation telling me not to.

KP leading again for england they seem to be realying on him alot

The all familiar England collapse

Day 1 Tea Update...

Australia dismiss Pietersen
Ricky Ponting and Co. will be very happy to see the back of the dangerman Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen went after a short pitched delivery from Lee but ended hitting it straight down Michael Clarke's throat.

Flintoff goes first ball
And then Lee made it two in two when he left Flintoff absolutely clueless with a fiery 97mph delivery that crashed onto the stumps.

Bracken swings Collingwood out
Nathan Bracken picked his first wicket of the innings when he beat the outside of Collingwood's bat with a fine inswinger and hit the offstump.

McGrath, Lee clean up the tail
Glen McGrath and Brett Lee then got rid off the England tail pretty easily, each picking up two wickets.

Hoggard was given out LBW to McGrath although replays clearly showed that the ball was never going to hit the stumps.

Harmison then paid the price for not offering a shot. Another wicket for McGrath.

Lee then dismissed both Panesar and Anderson in the same over with some very intelligent bowling.

Geraint Jones was left stranded on 43 and he did play some good shots in his innings.

So England bowled out for 185 with Kevin Pietersen's 70 and Geraint Jones' unbeaten 43 the only scores worth mentioning. For Australia Brett Lee ended up with an impressive five wicket haul while Glen McGrath bagged four England wickets.

Tea has been taken a bit early and the Aussies will begin their first innings after which.

So at Tea on Day 1
England 185 all out after 51 Overs

Poor batting display by England.. Lee n McGrath share 9 wickets.. Superb! England need to bowl well atleast trying to restrict Aussies within 250!

aussies bowled very nicely
nice pres mate keep it up

Great bowling by Aussies all damage done by Lee and McGrath . Australia have a chance to win this one if they get a big lead in this match . btw Sid u played on 5 start difficulty ?
