wow thats great coz many people said that 5 star is unplayable but your are doing a good job .
You need to first build the confidence and get the timing of the shots spot on. As you can see once I lose my concentration wickets fall easily and quickly.

But its definately not unplayable. And bowling is easy.

Aussies recover after early blows

Day 1 Stumps update...

Harmison strikes first over
England have got off to a perfect start defending a low first innings total. Justin Langer missed the line of a slightly fuller Steve Harmison delivery and was clean bowled.

Hayden egdes one to Strauss
Matthew Hoggard bowled a beutiful outswinging ball that just got the outside edge of Matty Hayden's bat and went straight to Andrew Strauss at 2nd slip.

Ponting hits out
The Australian captain Ricky Ponting has responsed brilliantly and aggressively here by taking the attack to England. He reached his half century in absolutely no time and treated the crowd at the MCG with some fine shots on both sides of the wicket.

So at Stumps on Day 1
Australia 103-2 after 37 Overs
England 185 all out after 51 Overs
(Australia trail by 82 runs)

Even stevens so far, obviously having Ponting still going doesn't help England and they'll need wickets in the next day.

Morning session is going to be crucial... If Ponting stays in that session, no suprise that England may have innings defeat too... Lot of works to do for English bowlers on Day2! :)

Aus should get a lead by this inns as their tail usual wags enough to get them over. Of course if these stay there it will be quite a lead.

Australia are in a good postion.
Austrlalia will just look to bat out the day while England need wickets while they have a lead.

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately my DVD is not working and there might be a pause in this story. There are a few updates from before which Ill put up.

I try and get a new copy of the game asap.

Day 2 Lunch Update...

Anderson strikes after Ponting-Hussey partnership
Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey were looking to move closer and closer to England's modest first innings total of 185 and a breakthrough was crucial for England. Ponting was playing the more aggressive role while Hussey was providing the support.

And then Jimmy struck with three wickets in one over.

The first to go was Hussey who missed the line of the ball completely. Michael Clarke's reign at the crease was made extremely short by Anderson as he produced a peach of a delivery to beat Clarke's defences and crash into the stumps. This was soon followed by a sharp outswinger that Adam Gilchrist edged to the keeper Geraint Jones.

Australia had crumbled from a position of strength at 131-2 to a position of deep concern at 131-5.

Warne out for 16
England picked up another wicket when Steve Harmison had Shane Warne caught at square leg for 16. Warne had hit two boundaries in the previous over.

Crucial knock
That crazy James Anderson over had left Australia in a spot of bother, but captain Ricky Ponting looked unaffected as he carried on playing his shots. And soon he got to the golden three figure mark.

So at Lunch on this second day the scores are level with the Aussies still having four wickets in hand. Its now down to Ponting to extend Australia's lead by as many as runs as possible.
