ENGLAND SHOW CONFIDENCE!​

England have shown great confidence and commitment in this match, not once have they looked on the backfoot with the bat. There seems to be a new positive air about the way things are going with all the batsmen doing pretty well. The two openers have given England the start which they would have been craving for. It reminds us a bit of the way the Australian openers blast off in the start, is this what England are trying to achive? So far it has worked, and we've seen some great batting.

It's also good to see people like Luke Wright take their chance, and kick of the innings, it was him who started the aggressive hitting early on and that set the tone for the rest of the innings, and for the rest of the team. England should be on course for a good total here!

SLIGHT STUMBLE FROM ENGLAND!​

Although England have had the perfect start India showed some more fighting spirit and tried to slow the Englishmen down just as they did with the West Indies. This small dominant period from India came when they got a wicket, the wicket of Wright who was caught behind from the bowling of Harbajan.

Then followed Pietersen and eventuall Owais Shah, both got caught behind, Pietersen was a bit suprised and unhappy to be out as he would have liked to lead the attack for England and boost the scoring rate. Shah played well but he was also dismissed, caught behind and playing across the line which caused the nick. However England feel they can still pull through a good total if Bopara and Collingwood stay out there!

The game looks evenly poised after the 30 overs. Jee, Pietersen wouldn't be happy with himself for only making 8 and not contrbuting much to the England total.

england going along nicely at the moment as long as they keep their wickets in hand for the next 10 or 15 overs they should be able to have enough in the tank to post a big score. india need to take quick wickets to prevent Englands momentum

ENGLAND ACCELERATE THE INNINGS!​

England have been dominating the Indians with the bat. After the three wickets fell India couldn't do anything about the Collingwood Bopara partnership. Both men were hitting the ball sweetly and hitting big when required.

India will have to bat just as well as England have to maintain and win this final, however anything can happen, we will have to see how this square stays in the second innings. The Oval usually has a reputation of big scores no matter what the innings, but will that hold true here?

BOPARA HITS HUNDRED!​

Ravvi Bopara has continued the trend of making hundreds, he has taken the game buy the scruff of the neck and really taken the game to the Indians. He was under a bit of pressure when he came into bat as he has been given an oppertunity he hasn't performed well enough but has kept his place and it could I guess be a third time lucky for him as he makes up for his other innings.

He scored with confidence and power, he wasn't selfish and hit out whenever he needed to. He played to his strenghts and he played with composure and didn't lose his cool when the Indians were trying to get under his skin, this is what did the trick for him and when he was in that groove it was hard to get him out!

Indeed, I have patched it fully and have edited the .ini files so that finding gaps is very common when batting. All worked out

No chance, seeing as the ideal timing zone for half the shots in the game are just mucked up. Or I'd much rather have 05.
