Nah, Gilchrist was an all-rounder and no matter how good his batting was it was still his secondary role in the side. He spent five times as long keeping as he did batting

That said, a specialist aggressor at number seven would be a brave luxury pick, and you'd probably need at least one front line bowler in the top six to make it work. Or give the gloves to Pant and ignore the consequences of that decision
