Everyone who supports a Championship side always defend to the death that the Championship is better than the Premiership. If the Championship is so much better then why do teams keep trying to get promoted from it?

The quality of football in the Premiership is better than anywhere else in the world. Yes the top 4 may seem predictable, but the fact that there's only 8 points between 11th and 4th says otherwise.

All you have to do is look at how Sunderland took the league by storm last year and yet they are relegation fodder this year. That's the chasm in class between the two leagues.

I don't think anyone would argue that the Prem isn't miles better quality than the Championship. The thing that makes the Championship great is that you can look at the teams before the season starts and you have absolutely no idea who will do well and who will struggle. And before each match you have no idea who will win, there is no such thing as form.

And Wolves are 3rd. :D

Matt teams are never gunna lose games on purpose to stay in a league are they? That comment is just stupid. The quality of play may be better in the Prem but the excitement is much better in the Championship.

And of course Rich. I've gotta be confident :)

Yes! Gerrard scored and you lot kept a clean sheet. My fantasy team has done poorly this weekend though; I'm hoping that Evra scores a hat-trick and bags a few assists tomorrow.

That takes the mick. Is he injured?

I can't believe that I had Scharner in my team since the start of the season and he does nothing, then as soon as I transfer him he goes and scores!

He got a knock, he aint that badly injured. Hobbs did well though.

Anelka's miss is a must see aswell.

theres 11 points between 1st and 14th in the championship

a good run of 5 results and coventry are right back in it

Yeah I hope so :) It is possible now that we have Mifsud back...
We need this takeover to go through... been dragging on for way too long and we are now on the drink of admiistration :(.

it would be nice to see coventry back in the premiership...

talking of takeovers, we've got one about to be finalised which means 12 mil for magic magilton

I don't even need to say anything about premiership football because anybody who was watching spurs-brummies will see what a different class it is to the championship and most definitely isn't predicatble outside of the top 4.

Premiership football not end to end? Not exciting? Just take a look at the Spurs vs Brummies game today. Fantastic 2nd half.

Yeah, I love the 3rd round cup draw, it gets boring later on in the cup, when there's fewer teams in the draw. I guess a decent draw, brought back memories of the amazing game in 2002, and 20legend's amazing late winner.

I can guarantee the Liverpool away at Notts Forest/Luton will be on TV, maybe Huddersfield vs Birmingham and I can see the United game being on TV.

Looking forward to tomorrow nights game after I had to miss Tuesday's. Looks like Rooney is back, so it means we wont have to play Saha.

It was an immense game. As soon as Berbatov hit the post when Tottenham were 2-1 up I had a feeling that Birmingham would snatch something. Didn't see that absolute thunderbolt coming though!

Fantastic advert for the Premiership though; That's why i'd watch a Prem game over a Championship game anyday. Robbie Keane shouldn't have been sent off though; The level of officiating this season has been nigh on terrible.

Yes a very good weekend of games in the prem. Some cracking games, but a weekend like this is quite rare in the prem. Championship almost every game is end-to-end due to all sides being the same level (Well maybe not QPR :p). And that's why most of the time i would watch a Championship game over a prem game any day...
