Chelsea were completely terrible. Sunderland should have scored more and Ivanovic should have been sent off just before half time.

Ivanovic was a sending off. Another bit of evidence for people to say "Big sides get Big decisions". At the Liverpool game inside 15 minutes Chris Waddle said there should of been a penalty for Stoke 4 times. Then at the other end Torres got pulled back and nothing said? :facepalm Dire times in football i feel :facepalm

It was a professional foul, I can't believe the ref didn't send him off.

Here's a stat: Mikel, Ramires and Zhirkov have scored a grand total of 0 goals between them in the premiership this season. It shows how much they're missing Lampard.

Defensively they were all over the place as well which is very uncharacteristic. Fair enough it was a makeshift defence but there was still some very basic errors.

Look at Chelsea's bench, the only potential match winner is Kalou (even then, maybe). They're clearly lacking depth in their squad.

So it's worth checking out the replay then, eh? :D Hopefully this'll put the skids under them for a while. ;)

Can't dsiagree too much the squad Capello has picked. Pretty much what i would have picked given the injuries to key player. Only slight gripe is that i may have picked Baines as backup LB now that A Cole has pulled out.

Thank god Johnson is out, hopefully Richards cements his place & we never have to see Johnson in an england shirt again.

Hopefully Caroll is fit for wednesday game & ENG can play this team:

---------------------------------------Hart-----------------------------------------------------

Richards--------------------Ferdinand----------------Jaigelka-----------------------Gibbs

---------------------------------------Barry---------------------------------------------------

-----------------------Gerrard-----------------------Wilshire--------------------------------

Walcott------------------------------------------------------------------------------Johnson

---------------------------------Caroll---------------------------------------------------------

Nice mixture ofyouth & experience that.

Wow, definitely got to watch the replay of that game.

I watched Everton vs Arsenal then headed to bed. Not a bad game, tactically the two sides cancelled each other out. Both held their flat 4-4-2 shape but with Fabregas dropping deeper than Cahill and Arsenals wingers coming infield more than Evertons.

Wow - I didn't see that coming, just goes to show you can't predict anything it seems this season! Typical - Chelsea lose at home for the first time in ages, and we don't take full advantage. 3-0 though - was it really that comprehensive? I haven't seen the game yet.

We lost at home for the first time since the end of February 2010. And yes, it was comprehensive.

Zhirkov's miss when he went clear in the first half pretty much sums it up. I think we need to buy a creative midfielder. Without Lampard, there was no creativity and penetration whatsoever.

Defensively we were poor and even then, none of the others looked interested to fight for the ball. Sunderland were the hungrier team.

Pretty much as I said, our bench was pretty depressing. We can't expect youngsters to get us out of such situation.

If we continue to play like this, I wouldn't be too surprised if we pick up 0 points from the next two games.

Lol only 45 odd days before you guys lost to newcastle in the carling cup :p

Don't really bother much about that. Although it was painful that we lost that game at Stamford Bridge(of all places) but at least we played way better than we did against Sunderland!

Glazers to pay off ?220 million of their debt.

It isn't club debt it is their debt, and as one of the article points out, they have probably taken other loans out to pay off these ones. If they have taken loans out it's more than likely they have because they will get better interest rates.

Other than that, no one really knows how they got the money to pay it back off :p.

Things just couldn't get any worse! Already without Lampard and Essien, now both Terry and Alex are sidelined for some time. :facepalm So that leaves us with Ivanovic and Bruma as the centre backs. The fact that we sold Carvalho and bought no one to replace him is a disaster! I hope Ancelotti has learned his lesson and doesn't play Ferreira at centre back again. He was like a headless chicken against Sunderland. Pair both Bruma and Ivanovic even if the former is still inexperience.

On the Glazers playing off the debt, I'm wondering where the money comes from.

So here we go , ancelotti looks to be reportedly interested in benfica's brazilian teen age sensation David Luiz. I observed him very closely during Liverpool's Quarter final tie with Benfica last season in the europa league and what i came to realise was that he was nothing less than a classy centre back (though he operated in the left wing against liverpool) . I still remember the way he controlled torres and kuyt single handedly at anfield

Guys about the pires signing, how is it legal ?? I mean how can they proceed with the transfer while the window is closed ??

Maybe they were tipped off by Haye that Harrison would go down in the third and the money their using to pay off these debts will be from their winnings.

Gareth Barry is the worst player to have 40+ caps. In fact, the worst player to have over 3 caps. Discuss.
