I'm pretty sure its not even right to label them 'black' in the first place (isn't it?), the BBC aren't really of help to their report.

+ thread title change.

Chelsea have been woeful in the pre-season so far, finishing is so off after I watched the highlights from all our friendly matches - tells a tale when we've won two matches 1-0 via own goals.

Didn't Torres score in one?

There was a behind closed doors kind of unofficial game against Wycombe Wanderers that Chelsea won 3-0, where Benayoun scored that goal. But in the official pre-season games, Chelsea still haven't scored.

Atleast they won. :p Liverpool are just getting owned by Hull. :p
Edit: 3-0 down lol!

Who played anyway? And isn't that like 9 goals conceded in 3 games already even if it is just in pre-season?

Yep, that's a real shame. Btw, this was our XI:

Last Match Statistics - Liverpool FC

We had only just loaned Gulacsi to Hull and what a start to his life there!

Thanks for that. Just happened to read the match review on Guardian seconds ago. :lol

The one thing that slightly puzzles me about Liverpool now is there are rumours that Meireles might leave. Don't really get that when he did well last season.

More than just a rumor tbh. The truth is, he's the lowest paid senior player in our side - lesser wages than the likes of Poulsen, Spearing, Kyrgiakos, Kelly, etc. Apparently, he wanted a rise in salary - which by all means was fair from his part, given he was one of our best players last season. But the American owners immediately spat a 'NO'! :facepalm
If I were Meireles, I would be leaving. Really feel sorry for him.

Poor guy. Dalglish shifting him to wide position during the back end of last season was confusing too given that he was on form when he played in the middle.

He should just come join his compatriots in West London and will probably get to play in his favoured position too. :p

At least we did not win another friendly game today through own goals. 3 legitimate goals along with 1 howler from the goalkeeper. 4-0! :)

Balotelli is at it again. He just never cease to amaze people. :facepalm but :lol at the same time though.
