Apparently, someone who is in the know about him said he'll 'conquer Europe' - that he'll win the Premiership and CL in two years. Will Roman wait that long? :p

Honestly, that guy is a prat. Sure, he's got money, but he's got no footballing sense at all. I read that the only reason Chelsea turned down Hiddink is because he wanted to get Ray Wilkins back on board. They should never have let him go in the first place.

I don't think that was the case. It was probably down to the fact that Hiddink wants to honour his contract with the Turkish FA more than anything.

Anyway, here's an insightful article on Villas-Boas, if anyone is interested.

Manchester City and Etihad Airways to Expand Cooperation in Comprehensive 10-Year Partnership Deal - Manchester City FC

Charles Johnston, Property Director at Sport England, said: "This announcement is positive for grassroots sport and people in Manchester. The re-negotiated stadium agreement will generate further investment in community sport and sports facilities in the local area.”

Or, it will just go back into helping the club neutralize their ?130 million loss from last year so that they can actually play in Europe.

And they have their own flagship plane flying from Abu Dhabi to Manchester :p.

That is very funny indeed. Maybe a secret link-up?:spy

Well, for money they did it.

The two have always had links together because, Sheik Mansour is good friends with the owners of Etihad Airways. It's certainly a pretty special partnership and apparently The Times have estimated the deal to be worth ?400 million.

Also read somewhere Sheik Mansour has an estimated fortune of somewhere in the region of ?650 billion. So whilst he may have invested around ?1 billion into Man City, that's like pocket money to him!
