Was just wondering if anyone here would be interested to participate if a prediction game for the Premier League is to be created where points can be won for correct predictions??

It's only a game. Only points can be won. :p

So, thoughts?

Alright. Thanks for the responses. Guess I'll wait and see if there are more members interested before creating it. If that happens, then I'll start it after the EURO qualifiers next weekend.

Happy with the win, though Martin Atkinson literally killed the game for the Toffees as soon as the 24h minute sending off Rodwell. Until then, they were pretty much all over us, but since that dismissal, it was vice versa and job done as far as Liverpool were concerned. Jose Enrique IMO was outstanding along with Lucas.

I don't think I've ever seen Atkinson have a good game as a referee. He's an awful official.

That red card to Rodwell totally spoiled the game. And Liverpool's both away wins in the league have come against 10 men opposition. First against Arsenal and now Everton. The goals were scored after Frimpong and Rodwell were sent off in those games.

Downing was anonymous all game and didn't link up well with Suarez at all. Carroll was poor apart from his goal. Not so much his movement, but whenever he had the ball, he had no idea what to do next and just played a useless pass or more often, gave it away. Kelly was solid and had a good game. Enrique was alright but tried to play the same move over and over again- shimmy to the left side in Liverpool's half and play a lofted ball to Downing/Suarez on the left. Suarez was brilliant again (good to see his English is coming along. It's not the best but he hasn't been in England long. Look at Tevez, still can't speak a word.) Gerrard looked good when he came on. His vision and general brilliance & creativity is sorely missed at the moment.

As for the sending off, it wasn't a red card and I'm not even sure it was a foul. Cahill's karate kick on Adam was far worse than that.

My word i cant believe Wenger actually played Mertesaker as striker near the end. Crazy.

He was waiting for the aerial ball mainly, he wasn't going to smash the ball in with his foot.

Poor show by Arsenal yet again. Terrible defence and every attack they made didn't look very convincing at all. A good finisher is needed, maybe Benzema or something (maybe I'm dreaming) who can play as centre forward so that van Persie can drop back to Walcott's position.

Interested, I do it with my friend with 3 points for correct result and 5 for correct scoreline (5 in total, not 5 on top of correct result).
