Sven had a strange habit of playing strikers out wide. Heskey, Vassell, Andy Johnson, Alan Smith etc.

Really? Well, I couldn't really care less how it works in the States - a nation that isn't exactly inundated with footballing knowledge. The fact is, Mr Kroenke, before the Gormless Glazers, we were able to attract pretty much any player in the world. Now, we can't - why? Because we're up to our necks in debt thanks to them. We've been winning despite the Glazers, not because of them. So shut the hell up, Kroenke - you don't know what you're on about! :mad

Once again: Glazers, sod off back to America and ruin a baseball team or something.

Don't make me bloody laugh!

Don't listen to Kroenke and his pervert moustache. He is just a horrible businessman, I mean, I cracked up in laughter at his speech during Arsenal's AGM.

Indeed. He doesn't know what he's on about. Still, at least he hasn't plunged you hundreds of millions into debt, has he? Wanna swap? :D

Utd playing tonight in CL - footy and Pizza night. Yum. :D

but Rooney was impressive in CM.

Certainly was. 98 passes on the night for Rooney, just one behind James Milner's record 99, which also came yesterday against Villarreal. That's a Champions League record for an Englishman.

Add them together and it probably just about comes near Xavi during a quiet game haha :)

I didn't think he was that impressive, tbh. A horrible game to watch, we've been shocking in Europe so far.

He was all right but his diag long balls got us in a far bit of trouble at times. Was a decent atmosphere but there was a nagging feeling that we were going to concede one at some point.

Thankfully we didn't. Four times I've been to see United now, three wins no defeats.

On TV, you could hear quite a few kids chanting "United" in their shrilly, high-pitched voices throughout the match. That wasn't you and BKB, was it? :p

IT WASNT ME!!! :p

They were tons of kids though, think was a field trip or something, and they kept moving up and down the stairs :facepalm

Been there three times, three wins ;)

Nah they were behind me right at the top of the eastern stand. Was a load of school trips going on had to barge my way through them outside the Sir Matt Busby statue.

I reckon you could have said excuse me, but decided to just go with the barge anyway ;)

Haha, when I say barge I didn't mean I literally ploughed through leaving a trail of bruised and crying children.
