About bloody time. He's been holding Liverpool back for the last few years. Too slow and can't pass.

That goal against Charlton was better than this one by a country mile. Nevertheless, cracking finish son!

On our game, Radek Crney was simply sensational in what should have been a comfortable win for us. He literally made us sweat to earn those 3 points.

Oh and delighted to see us winning at Anfield after a while. :p

That's basically 5 goalkeepers having good games in consecutive matches Anfield; De Gea, Ruddy, Vorm, Hart and Crney. At least Crney didn't prevent you from taking all 3 points this time. :p

The last 3 GKs definitely stood out for me, though Crney didn't prevent us bagging maximum points like you said. :p

what the hell has happened to RVP this season? he was always good, really good, but he's been ridiculous.

put him and suarez in the same team and man u and city and you'd have the most unbelievable strikeforce in the world.

The Charlton one looked better, but IMO this one was much more deliberate and skillful.

Bloody amazing finish though, both of them.

Anyone catch Barnsley v Ipswich perchance?

I was behind the goal for 6 of the 8 that went in.

The signs are there that Carra might retire after this season. He's no longer making the best XI. If he does, I hope we can reward him with a top 4 finish. A true champion.

He's give good service to the club. But he knows and everyone else at Liverpool knows it's time to move on. Keep Agger and get a good Centre Back because for me Skrtal doesn't cut it for me. A centre back has to be the first signing in the transfer market. I heard a rumour that Colochinni (Don't know how you spell it) is coming to Liverpool. Don't know how much that is true though

Skrtel for me has been pretty solid in his last 3 outings. Plus, Liverpool have been defensively brilliant this season, conceding the joint least no:of goals in the PL with Man City (13).

What we desperately need is a quality finisher and a backup CM. We've managed to score only 18 goals in 13 games, which is pretty shameful to say the least. Just recall Aquilani already during January and also hope Gerrard (who returns before Xmas) stays fit for the reminder of the season.

Aquilani won't come back to Liverpool. He's staying in Italy. He would be like a new signing if he did though, and a damn good one at that.

Coloccini would be a great signing. Skrtel isn't bad, but Coloccini is on a whole other level. He will leave Newcastle I reckon.

We let ourselves down with the first half performance, just tactically had no answer to the surprise Stoke tactic of launching them into our box. Poor that it took 45 minutes to actually combat that.

However, that said, this is one of the worst refereeing performances I've seen in a long time. Woodgate should have gone for more than Kaboul in the first half, 2 clear penalty shouts and a third dubious one and a perfectly good goal disallowed. At least we now know where Arsenal have been spending their transfer fees ;)

Welcome to the anti-Chris Foy club. :p

Wasn't it 10,000 AVB got fined? Me and my brother were on the phone, in that laughing because if you don't you have to cry kind of way.

We had hoped Harry would come out for his interview with a massive ?10,000 cheque for the FA and just gone, "Foy is an embarrasment!" Then just walked off. Surely he'll be getting dropped a divison after some appalling performances.

As I said we let ourselves down, generally, you've got to take luck out of football, and a better first half would have made it all irrelevant, but when you have a goal dissallowed that's onside by 2 yards, two penalties, one a handball on the line, a red card that Woodgate should have got in the first half, but that Kaboul for some reason got given in the second... Yeah, a little bit gutting!

That ignores the 3 clear corners we should have had that were all Stoke goal kicks as well as the blatant timewasting with every throw in. Yes, trot across the pitch, spend a few minutes drying the ball, then finally launch it... There were so many big decisions got wrong, that the little stuff just seemed pointless :p

Have to say I'm pretty delighted with Stoke's win today, though I still believe Spurs are good enough to finish 3rd or at the worst case, 4th. Which leaves us with only one off Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool remaining to clinch the final Champions League spot for next season.

#-Team - Pld - Pts
3. Tottenham 14 31
4. Arsenal 15 29
5. Chelsea 14 28
6. Liverpool 15 26

Have it give it up for Arsenal's stunning fightback though. Could have been a lot better had they managed maximum points at home to Fulham. Anyway, I'm backing Chelsea to take 4th spot.
