Win would have been perfect but still looking ok for Liverpool. With a win tomorrow we'll still be right behind Chelsea. Also hoping for a Man City win so that we are level with Arsenal on points if Liverpool do win.

That was a great performance by Utd; we could've really destroyed QPR today. Top of the league where we belong - let's see how City do this afternoon. Personally, I can see Arsenal getting a point. Sure, that'll put City back on top, but the gap will be non existent.

Don't push your luck. :p

???

Great win. Suarez looked tired but his touch was still sublime. I hope he is rested against Wigan on Wedensday because it's a very packed Christmas period and all these games seem to be taking a toll on his body. Henderson was decent and looks better in the middle for sure. Shelvey was impressive and I think he slotted in perfectly. Adam was decent as well but he is very poor at tackling. He invariably gets a yellow card when he goes for a tackle. Downing was also impressive for once. Provided good width and was a threat for most of the game. Bellamy was a pest and Liverpool play better when he's in the XI. Skrtel and Agger solid as a rock once again. Good partnership forming.

Now... I hope Tottenham win on Thursday and Liverpool win against Wigan and then we'll be level on points with Chelsea.

Bellamy you beast! We're so good as a side when he and Suarez play together.

Also I'd rather a draw than a Spurs win against Chelsea. Just don't want to see Spurs sealing 3rd spot for the reminder of the season even before New Year.

Amazing game between City and Arsenal - but I can't believe that RVP hit that chance straight at Hart! So, the Blue Moon members of Idiot Central are back top again. Never mind, we'll go on our usual post New Year charge.

Have to say, Tottenham have improved a lot.

The Blackburn vs Bolton match is a real gigantic one on Tuesday. If Bolton can't take advantage of Blackburn's defensive problems, they really really really are rubbish!
