Thankfully, those eight matches cover two Carling Cup ties against City, and two FA Cup matches (presuming the fact that Liverpool do beat Oldham at Anfield). Guess whom he faces right after serving his suspension? United at Old Trafford! Hope we can somehow appeal and get it reduced to just 4 matches or less. Also, his suspension starts only from Jan 4th, meaning he's eligible to play the whole of the Christmas period fixtures.

Aston Villa want Josh McEachran on loan | Mail Online

This would be very good move for McEachran if it come off. He potentially can have the kind of impact in the premiership like other young English players like Wilshire and Sturridge, but he needs more game given that he is being stifled by Chelsea.

I think a loan move to Swansea would suit Josh much better because of their playing style and the fact that Brendan Rodgers knows him from his time at Chelsea. Furthermore, Villa's youngsters are already struggling to get a consistent game time there. So, I don't see the sense of Josh going to Villa.

Good god, that statement that 'Pool released on their website...

They could've come out of this with some credit but they've managed to make a huge cluster**** out of it.

They've pulled the, 'Suarez is friends with black people so he can't be racist' argument. Although, no one is denying he isn't racist, the allegations are against a racist comment. Two different things.

All the Liverpool players wearing Suarez t-shirts during the warm up. This is beyond parody.

Spot on.

A quote I often think is apt is from Jeremy Waldren who said that "racism is something that shouldn't exist, but has existed, and therefore has to exist."

There should never have been an issue over skin colours, but there was, and now that there has been, it can't be forgotten.

Unfortunately for Suarez, whatever he may have said, and whatever context it was meant in, it is something that in the country he is in, is not acceptable.

Nice way to confirm our place in next season's Europa League with that draw. Also that's the first C.S in 14 games for Wigan's Ali Al Habsi. We really do propel the opposition goalies to a higher level, don't we?
Next season please.

Wow, Marc Albrighton has scored the 20,000th goal of the BPL. But I never expected him to score.

The sight of watching Benayoun scoring the winner for Arsenal yesterday made my blood boiled! :facepalm

Don't think anyone expected him to score. It was comical defending from Arsenal for his goal though.

What Evra called Suarez can be deemed as derogatory, offensive and racist...

As far as I know, we, Central or South Americans, do not call ourselves "sudacas" or any other names beyond Central or South Americans.

However, all my former college classmates and teachers from Spain (from various parts of the coutry I might add) were very and extremely clear to me and my other Central and South American classmates, that the word "sudaca" was derogatory, offensive and racist. This was confirmed by several of my cousins who attended post graduate studies in Madrid.

Wow - what an awesome display by Utd last night! That's what we should've done to QPR as well. Rooney's goal was especially amazing. Sure, City might still be top, but as we all know, Utd always kick into a higher gear in the New Year. If Mancini thinks all he has to do is be top by the end of January to 'make the league very hard to lose', he has a lot to learn about Utd and Sir Alex.
