Okay then but if you look at his ability to bring others into the game, I think it's poor in the final third. His decision making often lets him down and he'll pick out the wrong pass/dwell on the ball too long. Further away from goal, his flick ons with his back to goal are very good but when actually playing the defence splitting passes, I think he's not up to scratch. The statistics support this as well as he only has 1 assist all season.
I would have to agree. Following on with what shravi said, with a real striker you can see what he can do. With a proper striker, it won't be him that's the one being relied upon for winning matches. I think because of this weight on him, he has managed to succeed fairly often this season due to some decent dribbling skills mainly. He is overrated atm because of it. But don't underestimate him, he brings a lot to the team, and was sorely missed.
Looks like he grew up as a very selfish player so obviously he wouldn't be the sort of guy who would often play the brilliant passes, bit like CR7 that. It's just not part of his skillset.
