Lol, feel like you're exaggerating it a bit, there's like 2 of us here...

What happened to that other guy, who crowed about the title win all the way through the Summer and then disappeared? Can't remember his name, but I think it began with 'S'.

----------

Yeah, it's weird. There were hardly any 4 years ago.
I trust you were Chelsea till you die through the Ken Bates years? ;)

Well, he's old enough at least to have supported Chelsea back then. ;)

Edit: Sattar, that was his name.

Lee's older than me so he's definitely true blue.

Hey, steady...

But true, 31 tomorrow actually

Been supporting Chelsea since a mere boy, had a season ticket in the early 90,s and spent many games sat in the west stand "benches"

There is definitely some glory hunters on here.!

The definition of glory hunting is supporting Man Utd, clearly, can't compare the Man City fans to them.

The only real glory supporter is that WORLD CHAMPIONS weirdo who changes his team every week based on the league table.

Its hard to call United supporters, glory hunters to be fair. The had a great history, starting with the matt busby era before the fergsuon era.

Uhm, what's your definition of a glory hunter again?

Anyways, I don't mind 'em tbh, as long as they're loyal I could seriously not give a kerpluck.

Obviously not every Man Utd supporter is a glory hunter, I'm referring to the guys who support them only because they win.

That would be 99% of them, you probably encounter less of the glory hunter type in England but here (and pretty much everywhere in the world) it's sickening to see everyone supporting Man Utd. Not the same with Man City.

It's the times really, people just love seeing their team win and then brag about it the day after to their mates. I'm sure 20 years ago everyone wanted to support Liverpool(everyone except Colin that is :p).

Yeah, that's true. You can tell about the way they brag as well - they seem to brag in a sort of way where they're asking you why the hell you support your club instead of Man Utd and they seem to have some sort of pride in being glory hunters.

Yea this. I've always laughed when i go the trinidad on vacation to my family & i see people supporting united with such vigour & they don't even live in Manchester. So yes in that sense United (probably barca & madrid too) have the biggest glory hunting fans in the world outside of the respective countries.

But they have the legacy of winning trophies for years, similar to liverpool, ac milan, juventus, ajax, arsenal, inter, lyon for eg.

Chelsea, Man City, PSG fans would be a glory hunting club because without recent financial boots, they would be struggling for trophies. But of course even these clubs would have the local residents who would have been supporting them for years even without trophies & i don't doubt that some people actually do like these clubs due to style of football they play.

I have a confession to make. As a young and over-impressionable 6 year old I did support Liverpool. I didn't see the blue light until the grand old age of 8.

Happy Birthday! :)

Depends on when and why a Utd fan started supporting them. I started supporting them around 1986 - can't remember why, although my Dad did sort of support them (he wasn't really into football though). Might even have been something as childlike as liking the shirt or something. :D 1986 was when I got into football, thanks mainly to England's showing in the '86 World Cup. :)

That is true glory hunting - jumping from team to team!

That's how I feel as well. Pick a club, and stick with it no matter what happens, that's the way I see it.
