Any of them. The thought process of "let's take that job and either win things or get a 3 million pay-out after 9 months work" is incredibly sane.

Haha well yea that big money factor is always around. But the tarnishing of a reputation is more what i was leaning to.

Some in the media have been mentioning that your coach moyes is the first british manager, roman is considering appointing presuming benetiz last the season.

While Moyes deserves a bigger club job, would he want to risk his cv by going to chelsea?

Can't see who will come in as manager in the summer, or before that the way things are going

The only one I can think of is Jose, but not sure I even want him back, I was one of the few who thought his departure was no big deal, he is a manager who is a short term fix, 2/3 years then move on, so to get 3 years from him was great

We will see, don't even care what happens this season now, when your only playing the fa cup as champions of Europe you know you have had a crap season.

What a mix up between Hart and Zabaleta - if only that had nestled in the net, it would've been hilarious. :D Good game to watch, this one.

Steve Gerrard - what a goal that was! City staring down the barrel of a ten point gap now, without the game in hand. :)

And that was sheer genius from Aguero, but what the heck was Reina doing?

Lucky to draw that tbh.

Title race is over. :(

Fantastic game, wasn't it? Whoever says the Premiership isn't the most exciting league in the world is talking out of their arse.

Funny isn't it though - in both games, Liverpool blew two points against City by making terrible mistakes.

tweaking hell, that is howler #542 by Reina in the last 2 seasons. He is a great shot stopper, and is a very good ball player for a goalkeeper, but sometimes his decision making in the heat of moment is extremely questionable.

Gerrard was distraught. Understandably so. Liverpool dominated that game. I don't like to say that a team deserved to win when they didn't, because that's what football's all about, but Liverpool were the better team.

Yep that's right - we're clearly our own enemies. Excellent game from our boys though - best I've seen in a while, away from home.

Reina now has been involved in 8 howlers over the last two seasons in the league. Time to move ahead.

But StevieG - what a man! What a strike! Sheer quality.

Yep, you guys are playing some very good football. Sturridge is a big part of that for me - he really seems to have clicked with Suarez, and with Liverpool.

Top player part of the solid era of english defenders alongside adams, ferdinand, king, terry.

Gareth Bale - what a player. So frustrating that he's not English and that we didn't pay Southampton what he was worth a few years back - otherwise we'd have a ready made replacement for Giggsy. He could still end up at Old Trafford in the future of course...

So glad we didn't end up flogging Dawson in the summer! Yet to lose a league game he's started. Every year for each of the last 4 seasons we've displayed top 2-3 form when he's played, and he's inevitably got injured and we've faded.

If only Spurs had a world class striker, we'd be a potential title challenging team.

As i always say its the ryan giggs from late 90s/early 2000s situation again from a english viewpoint, when we were looking for a proper left-winger, but had to curse with regret given he is wasted playing for wales who don't do anything at international level.

If we had a situation that i mentioned couple years ago, where uefa had pre world cup qualifying for teams like Wales, Albania, Luxemborg, Liechtenstein, Latvia, San Marino, B & H, Cyrpus, Estonia, Montenegro, Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Andorra, Albania, Malta, Georgia, Moldova.

Alot of welsh player like bale who had English links (bale's grandmother was english) i'm sure would opt to play for england, if wales were not guaranteed a group place in uefa/euro qualifying tournaments.

Ye commanding performance from Dawson today, looking something close to dawson who got called up for england circa 2011.

I saw hodgson was @ the ground & he must have been impressed. Keeps this up & he should start for england in next month's qualifiers.

if Villa go down benteke would probably be available, from what I've seen he's made for spurs.

Saw on skysports news yesterday, that benteke has already told villa that whether they stay up or not he wants to leave.
