Give it a few years and Gold and Sullivan will sell West Ham to a billionaire from somewhere East due to the fact they have access to a massive stadium for no money.

It won't be filled at all. It's all a bit of a joke really. Legacy my arse. In fact, my arse has produce farts with more of a legacy than that stadium will now leave.

No doubt Trevor Brooking had a few words to smooth the process over somewhere, with west ham winning the world cup being amongst them.

Chelsea or Spurs would have made better sense buying that, if they wanted to leave their famous old grounds. But yea its very strange West Ham taking it, given their current status.

Spurs bid was comfortably the best one for absolutely everyone concerned (bar Orient perhaps), but it was never given any real consideration by the bid team.

Spurs - yeah I can see them filling it, but not West Ham. The atmosphere will be dire; remember what happened to Southampton when they left The Dell? It wasn't long after that they were relegated and spent a long time out of the Premiership.

We would have filled it and then some. We have a waiting list for season tickets of about 30,000 :p

Caughtoffside is one of the worst sources ever, I'd suggest you not to follow it much.

We can't sell him so when he comes back it will likely be his last chance, or when his contract expires in around 2015.

His wages could be a problem for other clubs but he is a classy player and worth a gamble at the low fee he will be available at here. Maybe he can do an RVP and be injury-free if he leaves.

A torn ACL is a pretty serious injury though, I don't see a future for him at Arsenal.

The only problem in selling him would have to be his wages.

Ok people, real football is back. Predictions for the weekend?

Oh, are you referring to your Championship relegation battle? Or the Easter Sunday fixture between the Dog and Duck and The Bull?

I'm referring to the fact that the over-inflation in the top division demeans the game as a whole and how far it's moved from the fans. Despite being the biggest industry sports-wise in this country, I'd rather be a checkout monkey than cover football here, degree or no degree.
