Who will win the Premiership?

Not really, when I hear an Everton fan commenting on that... What is that phrase again - The pot calling the kettle black???

The inconvenient truth however is that Everton are probably ahead of you right now in the grand scheme of things...

Pellegrini is fitting right in at City, spouting garbage like everyone else:

City have the best squad! City will win it all! Did you check the league table last season mate? I'll let Y2J have the final say:

Next time, try to look for quotes, because no where in the article is he quoted to have said "we will win it all", he's said "we will try to win it all" and that's exactly what he's supposed to say.

And we do have the best squad in the premiership, you just had the best player and manager in the premiership, good thing that's all it takes though. :p

The actual interview for those that care, welcome aboard Pellegrini!

Nah - if I'd looked for quotes, I wouldn't have been able to use my carefully handcrafted Y2J piccy. :D

Yeah, well, the headlines are manipulated the way they are for the millions of United fans like yourself. :p

In all seriousness, both clubs will probably splash out huge amounts this summer (not forgetting Chelsea either). It'll probably come down to who splashes with the most sensibility. ;)

Have to admit, it's tough to hate Pellegrini. He deserves to inherit a squad like City after what he's been through after leaving Villarreal.

PL is shaping up very nicely in managerial terms, we might be in for the best season yet. Jeez, when you think the last two seasons have been overwhelming, you get this.

Even confronted with his photo I still can't quite believe we pulled that signing off.

That's what I was saying when he was first linked with City, there's no way anyone can hate this guy unless they headline his interviews all wrong, which they've already started...

But if it wasn't Pellegrini, I wanted a young manager like Michael Laudrup or Frank de Boer, either or, but I'm overjoyed that Pellegrini actually worked out, the man deserves this as you say!

Looks like he'll play his traditional 4-2-2-2 at City. Is Navas tactically versatile, because he's a pure winger from what I've seen...

Really don't know what's going to happen to the system tbh, one time they say "all our teams, across all levels will play the same system/style" and another time they say "the first-team manager can do as he pleases to tweak the system/style to his liking"... so really don't know, got to wait for the pre-season friendlies to start.

----------

On friendlies, if the two in America played are anything to go by, we go 4-3-3 next year.

i think the idea is that the first teams default set up will be used in the other sides, but there is flexibility to adjust it for certain opponents and situations.

Nice Villa kit there; let's see if they can have a better season than last time to do it justice.

'Hey, at least we were No.1 on The Telegraph's new kit list.' :D
