I back the Liverpool VS Man City game to be the game of the season, will be the decider of the title in my opinion.

What did I say, what the frickin did I say. :D

Meanwhile me, after reading few of the posts from previous pages:

It was a tragic accident that could have been avoided.
Before Chelsea VS Spurs a couple of seasons back.

Clive Tyldesley - ?Is it really asking too much to observe a few moments of silence once a year for the ?victims of Hillsborough? The reflections of the many spoilt by the thoughtlessness of the few here at Wembley.?

I'm sure you're a Chelsea fan.
Chelsea FC club spokesman - ?Chelsea Football Club is extremely disappointed a very small minority of fans embarrassed the club today by not honouring the moment?s silence.

Anyways, there is no point of showing a stoned heart person this.

Guys move on he aint changing his point of view

Why the hell am I gonna change what I feel for any of you?

Guys , chill. Looks like he is not going to change , so why argue ?

Why the hell am I gonna change what I feel for any of you?

:facepalm

It's not some kind of cult or a church with people brainwashing you to believe a load of crap

There it's no right or wrong with what I've said.

Nothing anyone can say here will stop me from believing what I want.

I'll never be a sheep.

Come on, Sunderland! Hold on!

fish, nvm.

Still a positive result! :)

3 wins and a draw needed now. Much more do-able.

Interesting & good see Barkley play in a deeper mid-field role today still look equally competent.

they don't really let you compete though, not with those clubs, it has so happened arsenal falling away has left a door open for everton to snag the coveted 4th place and the financial rewards (though given they'll have to play qualifiers to make the CL groups it might not be that earth shattering) but everton won't be getting any favours from the top clubs next year if they're throwing their hat in the ring for CL spots. It could be villa or newcastle that will be the benefactors next year.

I don't think loans are all bad but the bigger teams are pushing in the direction of trying to command more and more of the talent, in the early 90s you just wanted a good team and three or four world class players to polish it off, by the 2000s you wanted a full team of world class players, mid 2000s you needed an 20 man squad of ?30m players and now we're moving into territory that you have to have tapped up several of the worlds hottest young talents to develop. it's quite possible the next step is owning a large group of players and loaning them about. I don't think a situation where chelsea and man city commonly exert influence over the make up of other teams is a good thing.

a wage cap would be the best half way ground, these guys are only moving to chelsea/city to then get loaned out because of the huge wages involved. cut wages out and what reason does courtois have to be at atletico via chelsea?

Ye the bold is quite true about how things have changed in the last 20 years & it is slightly disturbing what is the next step.

This FFP & loan thing certainly needs sorting out.

Well I think that's City out of the title race. I can't see Chelsea or Liverpool losing any of their remaining games other than the game between the two of them, and a Liverpool win or draw will mean Liverpool win and a Chelsea win would mean Chelsea win. Hopefully City absolutely nosedive and we can take 3rd off them:D.

We will win the rest of our games, purely because we have our best players back now. What's the luck, during our difficult run we lost all our best players, now we have our easy games we have them back. We'd be coasting to the title now if we had them earlier, but I guess that's just our luck:facepalm.

Do me a favour, can't believe you can really believe what you just wrote.

Arsenal are shite, always full of excuses, if this had happened, if we would of had more luck.:facepalm

The same could be said for most teams, if we would have had decent striker does that mean we would of run away with the title then?

All ifs and buts, which is why we love football

Yes. You would run away with the title.

It's significant because Liverpool are going to win the title but they had luck where we didn't. Had Liverpool lost Suarez, Sturridge and Gerrard during the most important part of their season, they would've struggled to finish top half.

No Suarez for the first five games which included Man Utd at Anfield, and no Sturridge during Spurs, Chelsea, City (all away from home). Not to mention he only came on as a late sub at Goodison and got the equaliser. Plus we missed our best CB in Sakho for more than half a season.

So c'mon Don, not our fault Wenger chose to sign Kallstrom despite given your squad's lengthy injury list.

I still don't understand why you love Sakho so much.

----------

We lost ALL THREE of our best attacking players at once. We're talking Stoke away, Everton at home, Bayern away, Tottenham away, Chelsea away, Swansea at home, Man City at home and Everton away. Not to mention we lost our most important player in these big games, Walcott in January for a lot more games than just that.

The blame is obviously still with Wenger though for not strengthening enough.
