Who will win the Premiership?

An u-23 league would be of little to no use. No club picks their player based on an u-21 match. At least the "b" teams' matches would have a competitive atmosphere since they play against professionals. It has worked wonders at Spain and Germany , when it comes to producing quality players , and why can't it happen in England as well? The attendances are a valid argument , but the positives outweigh the negatives , IMHO.

The problem is the coaching in this country, nothing else just poor coaching, kids are taught poorly from a very young age, I witness it every week when my u7 team play, the other team managers haven got any idea what to teach his kids.:facepalm

I'm starting my coaching badges next month, and I will report back my findings.

This season is over , then. There is no way City will lose it now. Chelsea have been very , very disappointing this match and Liverpool were unlucky to have that Suarez FK erased.

BBC Sport - Premier League: Garth Crooks's Team of the Season

Would pick Cahill or Terry over the tall german, otherwise I would agree with that team of the year.

- My game of the year would be that 3-3 Merseyside derby draw @ Goodison Park

- Watching the post season show on skysports, the goal of the season is the close one between Rooney's goal vs West Ham, Wilshere Arsenal team goal & this goal by the Fulham bloke vs Crystal Palace.

Rooney's goal against West Ham was nowhere near the best goal of the season. It wasn't even the best goal from the halfway line. Shelvey wins that.

Anyway, see you in a couple of seasons, Premier League. We will be back!

Joe Hart isn't even close to being the best goalkeeper in the league, he's incredibly overrated.

This season , Kompany has not been as good as they perceive him to be. He has made some errors and we can say in last couple of months , Demichellis has been better than him. Terry and Cahill deserve to be in the team of the season.

------Sturridge------Suarez--------

-------Yaya--Gerrard----Ramsey-

I like this team, but I think Aguero should be in ahead o Big Sturridge though. Aguero like Ramsey, although they had injured ravaged seasons, looked so lethal when they did play.

If Aguero played full season, he might have scored a similar amount of goals to Suarez & Man City might have won the league earlier. If Ramsey was fit, Arsenal who spent the most days leading the league this year, might have been 2nd at least.

So why wouldn't a proposer Under 23 league match have a competitive atmosphere.

Based on the points raised by Gabrielle Marcotti & Martin Samuel - the B league system doesn't seem to work that perfect in Germany & Spain.

One point that already makes the idea a bit messy is the meddling of the English league pyramid strucuture, which is unique to the country. I am my family & friends during school know about going to champions, league 1 & 2 games with Macclesfield Town, Preston North End, Blackpool & that has its uniqueness - don't want to mess with that.

I do think however, that this "B" League idea is strange proposal a bit, simply because the premier league only recently implemented that the "Elite Player Performance" system which would target the best young English players.

Plus the commission finding were stats based on last season, this season a fair amount of English players have gotten game time.

I don't think you can include Aguero or Ramsey in a Team of the Season.

Marshall definitely was the keeper of the season. Him and Caulker were brilliant in defence. They would have conceded 100+ without them as opposed to the 74 they conceded. Just look at how terrible the likes of Turner and Theophile-Catherine were. Also none of the top teams had a brilliant goalkeeper that kept them in games.

My Team of the Season:

---------Suarez------Sturridge-------
Hazard----Gerrard---Yaya--------Silva
Baines---Kompany----Cahill---Coleman
---------------Marshall---------------
