Nixon played a few games in 07, most notably in the world cup, he was very meh. Way too old and not particularly talented with the bat or gloves.
This season in List A cricket Mustard has 259 runs at 37 but his strike rate's been massively down, the season before that he made 362 at 24. He really isn't good enough tbh, not with the bat or the gloves. Prior's as good with the gloves as Mustard.
As for Ambrose. He may have performed poorly against NZ, but he's not a bad OD batsman, averaged 70 with the bat in 2007 in List A cricket, and is generally better when batting slightly up the order. He's not a lower order slogger.
Kieswetter's surely next in line in ODi's though. He's an excellent player, and solid with the gloves. He has 353 runs at 70.60 this season with 2 hundreds and made 537 last season at 41 with a hundred and 3 fifties. So unlike alot of English keepers that are picked, he's far more than a 1 season wonder. He'd slot in nicely at the top of the order alongside Bopara I think.
