How can you even compare the 2? Kohli was signed as an Indian U19 player and U19 players had a specific price cap set for them. It was necessary to have 3 U19s (minimum, now) in the team and play atleast 1 in the lineup.

Morgan (an international pick at an auction) and Kohli (a 19yr-old kid when he came into the IPL under set conditions) cannot be compared. Bump this thread when Kohli actually gets a professional contract like Gambhir or Yuvraj. We'll talk then

Kohli didnt go under the hammer this time, so he is continuing at the price at which he was sold in the initial auction. Morgan went under the hammer this time and so obviously he got such a big price.

So in this case, comparing their prices doesnt prove who is better!

Eoin is definately better in T20 but ODI and TESTS AKMAL and KOHLI cant beat him easily.......

Tough one but i would give it to Virat Kohli because he has a more sound technique then the umar akmal and eoin morgan.
