Good game, although the Czechs dint deserve losing 1-3, Portugal and Ronaldo had too much quality in them.

yes, but all i want to see from refs is consistency, and giving that was very very inconsistant!!!! terrible reffing

Anywhere else on the pitch, free kick, why should it be any different in the penalty area? Agree about consistency, but he had the balls to give the decision, and maybe other refs will now follow suit. In the rule book, it's a pen.

yes i agree, it was a foul, so it should be a pen, but there was times in the game when polish players got pulled in the ares yet didnt get a pen! if you give one you have to give them all, and he didnt, so he made a mistake, as he hadnt given any previously that shouldnt of been given. and to make it worse! i had 50k on poland! :

Due to identical points, goal difference, and goals scored, if Turkey vs Czech Republic finishes as a draw on Sunday, we will see the first ever penalty shoot out in a Euro Championship group game. It was a rule brought in before the tournament by UEFA, I doubt they imagined it would become active though.
