FA Cup

and the Liverpool trophy room...oh wait. :p Having never been to Liverpool my impression is that its deserted and a bit like I am Legend only with a few thousand people meeting up once a week to watch football.

Great result today, I had to laugh when Spurs went ahead and starting singing 'Are you Arsenal in disguise' and we went on to comprehensively beat them, 3-1!
(That's how you do it, Gunners!):p

Unlucky H/W against Liverpoo, I reckon they just might have provided us with the biggest shock of all time if it had been held at their own ground!

Bristol Rovers Vs Southampton

Cardiff City Vs Wolves

Sheffield Utd Vs Middlesborough

Liverpool Vs Barnsley

MANCHESTER UNITED VS ARSENAL

PNE Vs Portsmouth

Coventry Vs WBA

Chelsea Vs Huddersfield Town

So we got Arsenal, tough draw obviously but I'd suspect the winner would come from one of us 2. Hopefully arsenal will still have their players at the African nations though so we'd have the edge. Especially if Wenger doesn't play a full strength side and puts Lehmann in :D

So thats another prem team out, portmouth or boro could slip up aswell. Good to see were getting easy draws :p, in 06 and 07 all we got was prem teams except for Luton.

Predictions there

I can't see how people can predict Wolves over Cardiff. Cardiff are the 2nd most in form team in the Championship (after Crystal Palace) having lost only 1 in the last 10 matches (against Briz City :p trev :p). Wolves are a team out of form over the recent few weeks having slipped down the table from their early play-off position to BELOW Cardiff now. Granted, they are both on 40 points, but, who has the better goal difference? :D

Cardiff will win 3-1, having now gotten over their early season blues.
Although Swansea lost to H&W and Swansea are 11pts clear in League 1, so I could just be talking crap.

The defending champions are STILL in the competition.

Chelsea just keep scraping through though, us and Arsenal have been far more convincing this season and I doubt Chelsea can carry on how they have been. Since the start of December they've won only 3 games by more than a goal and thats out of a lot of matches.

Form counts for nothing. This is the cup after all. :)

Town should be playing Preston, or at least Plymouth in Round 4
