Wouldn't mind some pavilion building variations, and some small residential buildings (this one is more aesthetic), or buildings in general. Examples being cathedrals, two storey houses, apartment buildings. Just to add some variety to stadiums and help make each user created one stand out a bit more.

  • Unlock the personality tab for licensed players in the academy - I don't understand the logic behind locking it as it has been unlocked in previous iterations. The personality tab goes hand in hand with player ratings which is now restricted because of it. E.g. Smith is classified as a middle order bat when irl he bat's top order 2 out of 3 formats, jofra has a conservative bowling mentality. Neither of which u can change when doing ratings because it's locked. Only the bowling /batting style should be locked if it is licensed in game e.g for southee.
  • Ability to turn off the slow mo run out game-imo it is absolutely useless adds nothing to the game, never got a run out off it. The mini game is just representing what you could already do in the game but in slow mo. For tight run outs u could already release the throw early, there already was that trade off between quick release and more power, you don't need a slow mo to execute that.
  • Option in the player academy to bat with cap against spin or hatless
  • Umpire creation- option to select what formats that umpire officiates in and also at what level int, Dom, club. So when umpire is set to random in game it will only only select umpires available for the format and level. Also option to assign umps to comps.
  • Ability to turn off after touch in pro controls
  • Commentary modifier - personally I don't think commentary is needed every ball in a cricket video game, it doesn't work like Irl. Override should be if there's a wicket, mile stone, change of bowler, bowler going over/around wicket, winning run/ wicket, on a hattrick, on 99 etc etc . But apart from the override we should be able to select the frequency of commentary e.g every odd number ball, every even number ball or twice per over pre selected per over eg. 1st and 4th ball etc etc
  • Like Fifa how you can select players for key roles: corners penalties etc there should be a team tactics tab to the line ups creation.
bowling : select opening bowlers, first change bowler and also the two death over bowlers

Spell management: set for the Ai how many overs each bowler bowls eg. In a odi Ur 4 front liners u might set 10 overs for each. Say u have three allrounders /partimers u might lock in 3 overs for 2 and 2 overs for 1 the residual 2 overs will be allocated based on conditions/ in match performance to the three allrounder/part-timers

Bowling rotation maybe you can set diff rotations for diff formats and condtions

Batting : night watch men, floater for when the run rate is getting out hand

Fielding : set the slips 1st 2nd etc and close fielders as these are specialist positions

A description for both Batting & Bowling mentalities in Player creator would be nice, we can understand a wee bit , but what clearly would be the difference between, say an Aggressive & Brute mentality is obscure.

Like for example, from what I experienced, a precise mentality bowler constantly challenges the batsman in & around the 4th stump consistently by varying lengths, whereas a conservative bowler bowls those hard lengths outside off more to reduce the scoring rate..

Just a line or couple, when going through the mentalities would be really helpful when assigning them.

In terms of bowling, aggressive will attack the stumps with Yorkers and full balls often - Jhye Richardson I think is an example. A brute looks to bowl bouncers and short of a length stuff with the occasional full extra effort ball.

Yes correct I have understood so too, but a simple descriptive line wouldn't hurt from the developer's side is what I was suggesting.

So we can better understand and assign mentalities properly to match real world entities..

agreed.

There was help text for mentalities written, and I believe was shown in previous games but seems to be left out of the current one, will have to find out if it can be fit in somewhere, but for now:

Batting:
AggressiveMore likely to play attacking and lofted shots, trying to score runs quickly.
BalancedA balance between aggressive and conservative styles.
BruteMore likely to play attacking, lofted shots trying to maintain a high scoring rate.
ConservativeTends to play along the ground and defensively, only looking for safe options in the field.
PreciseAims to find gaps in the field and will usually play defensively when no gap presents itself.

Bowling:
AggressiveWilling to concede runs in order to trouble the batter.
BalancedA balance between aggressive and conservative styles.
BruteMore likely to bowl deliveries that force the batter to play at the ball.
ConservativeBowls very safe, attempting to force a mistake from the batter with little variety.
PreciseAims for line and length deliveries, using slight variations to tempt the batter into rash shots.

In my experience with these two, more likely equals guaranteed lol. They also go by "ruin my bowling figures".

Same I guess if they tune it so that 'attacking' batters play more attacking but not necessarily 'lofted' would be a good variation.

A real world example is Virat Kohli, where he plays aggressive but everything is mostly grounded and taking calculated risks with aerial shots (or) Instead make it so that Brute mentality batters are more likely to play lofted more but mistime now & then, thereby there is chance of both high scoring rate with equal chance for bowlers if they do mistime..

Cameron Bancroft has a personal vendetta against me in career mode.
