FOOTBALL Fifa 12 - console and PC!

The only reason I buy FIFA is career mode. This is what I want fixed:

- Players' ratings need to go up/down while on loan.
- Even if players are getting older, their ratings should not go down if they are getting 7.5 or above in every game just because they are 31+.
- Transfer communication between teams should be done within fewer days when the end of the transfer window is approaching.
- Ratings of players in the reserve team should go up with age even if they are not playing in the first team.
- Potential growth of players you have signed should be shown.
- As a team starts moving up in the table over seasons, the board should increase the transfer and wage budget as they are making more money.

Edit: Dual commentary teams have been confirmed for Fifa 12. Not too sure who, but Alan Smith is one of them. :facepalm

Apparently you can choose to have Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend, from ITV's UCL coverage, plus Martin Tyler is returning to the game, and you can choose your commentators from the options menu before starting a tournament.

Plus it sounds like they've upgraded the pre-match footage, more analysis and team footage, apparently a bit like Sky Sports.

All that and a whole lot more mate - let's just hope that EA have put aside some time to look at Career Mode, instead of focusing on sodding multiplayer!

Looks great

I want them to add more international teams like Ghana , Ivory Coast etc most of the African Teams

And some African League like the South African PSL:D

This is my favourite Fifa screen so far, because I only buy it for Career Mode:

Goddamn this year is gonna be a Wallet ████ :noway

Listening to this podcast, Fifa 12's CM is going to be so incredibly deep - no matter how good the gameplay may or may not be in PES 12, it won't be able to match this sort of depth off the pitch - and in any case I love Fifa 11 PC; Fifa 12 is going to be better than that - the testers have said as much. :D

What did they say that made it seem that FIFA 12 CM will be 'deep' like what extra features is there going to be?

The features look mouth-watering before release, but after buying very few are implemented.

They said this and more:

Clubs can be taken over by Man City style conglomerates - leading to a changing of the football world over time. AI controlled teams only.

Players won't sit happily on the bench - be sure you don't buy too many star strikers because you won't be able to keep them all happy and unhappy players won't play as well as they can. In short, players will inter act with the manager a lot more.

Deadline day transfers - similar to Sky Sports deadline day - tie up all your deals as time ticks down. Time is advanced in hourly increments.

Transfers themselves now have multi layered negotiations.

A player can hand in a transfer request right before the start of the season - the board might support you in what you do, they might tell you to come down on the player, or they might decide he's a pain in the arse and order you to sell him.

Youth Academies - develop your own stars of the future. :)

Stuff like that - there's really too much to remember off the top of my head. :D

Overall, it sounds as though they're working towards making CM feel less like play match, play match, play another match. Listen to the podcast, it's worth it guys. Simon Humber (the CM man) comes on around 30 mins in. :)

Please don't be geeing me up for failure.

I'm frothing as it is looking up all these 'new' things they've implemented from what you've gone on about (when really they should've been added by default mind you :p).

----------

Looks like they haven't implemented player roles still. As if they can overlook that again.

For what it's worth, the PC testers are giving much more favourable opinions about the AI and the game as a whole than the console testers are - so whatever the console version turns out to be, Fifa 12 should make PC gamers very happy at least. :)
