FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

I'm using the sliders Skater mentioned, FIFA 13 - FSB Gameplay Sliders - FIFA Soccer Blog.

It's pretty good, definitely not perfect but makes it more realistic and a bit tougher. I've been playing with those a bit, if I want more of a challenge I might put the user acceleration a couple of notches lower, or the player run frequency a bit lower. That is if you want to handicap yourself, you could obviously alternatively make the AI better (but that's just frustrating as they are already a bit too good half the time).

I just want a way to be able to stop Stoke from playing keep ball and Fulham from pressing like Barca. Anyone know sliders that can help that? The former is annoying, but the latter is what makes it that I can't score more than one type of goal the majority of the time, the striker receives it with his back to the goal, turns and shoots into the bottom corner.

Online matches are still so ridiculously scripted as all my previous online FIFA experiences have been

I'm an average player I would say, been on a good run just won 4 in a row, the next 3 lost them all, despite dominating 2 of the 3, my players all of a sudden cant control the ball, win a header, deflections always favouring the attacking side, and my goalkeeper conceding some of the worst goals I've seen,

So frustrating, brings back memories as to why I stopped playing FIFA online a few years ago.

Why can't it just be a fair one on one match best team wins,?

There is no need for scripting to alter the outcome of matches

Its nearly the same for me. Stopped playing online due to it. Although may again get a warrior spirit and play again.:D

Won the title with Atletico, and my team has changed a lot. This is how it looks at the moment.

ter Stegen
Juanfran------------K. Papadoupoulos------------Vertonghen--------F. Luis

Eriksen---------Gabi (C)----------Koke

Hulk----------------------------Neymar-----------------------Bale

Need to find a good central midfielder to replace Koke, but I hardly have any cash.

Lol, surely you're using an external program. How can Atletico afford Eriksen, Bale, Hulk and Neymar?

I've tried to make career mode more challenging for myself and the transfer market more exciting by spending a maximum of only 10m on any one player.

Will give it a try, maybe Professional with that would work, idk.

But back to what you were saying about Stoke and Fulham, annoying as kerpluck! Like seriously man, why can't they just kerplucking incorporate a teams style into the game, surely can't be that hard...

Falcao for 90m, fund requests, winning titles, definitely possible.

What I do to challenge myself within the transfer window is to not buy players from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus(obviously broke this little rule when I went for Vidal in my City career, but I have my reasoning, my main target De Rossi was 29 and that's a big no no in my world. :p).

I sold Falcao, James Rodriguez, Dzsudzs?k, Cavani, Turan, Adrian and I don't know who else. Certainly possible after all that.:p

It's a lazy selection of team styles as well, the large majority of clubs even in the top flights don't play football like Barca, yet teams in League Two do in FIFA. Great for playing as Real Madrid vs Barca, terrible for any other game really.

I myself made it a decision to only buy players who were actually linked to Arsenal in real life in some way, were under 20 m and were under 90 pace. That was when making marquee signings, so I picked up Dzagoev, Yanga-M'Biwa and Ben Arfa. My left backs had to be exceptions though as in real life we have two decent LBs so won't be linked to any really, Monreal is the only one I can remember. But basically I just looked to make realistic signings, so guys on last year of contract too. Making the board strict so that you only receive 65% of transfer fees also helps.

Anyone know any decent guys with one year left on their contracts? I know of Dzagoev, Yanga-M'Biwa, Holtby, Huntelaar and Llorente.

I bought Pirlo and sold Chamakh .:D

You kept Walcott?!

Maybe he's going the realistic route and ejecting him come January. :p

Yeah I kept all of them , looking forward to sell Gervinho and Giroud .

Since last update good thing is the game freezing has stopped

But online play is now for me almost unplayable

Bad lag in matches now which was not there before and ridiculous momentum and scripting in matches which has increased dramatically

I'm either winning games in the last minute by a lucky ricochet or losing the same way and nearly always in the 90th minute.

The keepers are parrying the ball all the time from weak shots, it's like FIFA is testing me to see how far it can push me,, well I tell you what my remote is close to going through the tv screen right now.

Just let the best man win.!!!! Stop all the nonsense :mad

Heh, I split half my controller into two by slamming it against the wall:p.

Lost count of the number of times my defenders' legs have turned to jelly in the 90th minute or my keeper has decided to parry it into the net.
