Van Gaal ha, forget all the potential United player signing this season - he is the best one. He also certainly redeemed himself for failing to qualify the super talented Dutch team for the 2002 W-Cup.

Robben spent half of that game on the floor. He does draw a lot of fouls, which is expected from his very direct approach to goal, but this match was worse than usual. I don't really have much of a problem with players exaggerating when there is contact (as there was with the penalty in the NED vs MEX game), but this was a little much. His diving left a sour taste.

Still, I'm glad Holland is through as it makes for a much more exciting semi-final.
