Villa deserves it as much as Sneijder, Forlan and Muller, if not more. Also he is only one goal behind the previous number seven Raul in the all-time highest goalscorers for Spain.
I never quite understood how people considered Torres to be better than Villa.

I didn't know this. I thought Robben was fit. Also Spain is saying that they don't have a particular plan to stop Sneijder. They better have because he has been in outstanding form this season.

If Spain score first, there's no way they'll concede.
Robben offers nothing defensively which Brazil took advantage of when Robinho made an unmarked run for the goal. Sneijder also does very little defensive work. Kuyt offers good defensive discipline on the wide left but Iniesta likes to drift inside and becomes another central player, this will test Kuyt to his absolute limits. When Iniesta drifts inside, Spain outnumber the Dutch in the centre. It'll be interesting if they sit back or if they pressure the Spanish midfield. Van Bronchorst has tightly marked his opposition to make up for his lack of pace, but Iniesta is not a genuine wide player. Spain will pressure the Dutch, which could give Sneijder space between the lines which is incredibly dangerous for a player of his calibre. But if Spain score first, they can play their tika-taka football for as long as they like.

I'm waiting for an excellent finish to this great tournament. Just want to sit back and enjoy the last game, as someone completely neutral. Like I remember saying earlier, I had appalling knowledge about football before the start of the WC. I now at least know what an offside is and what golden goals are courtsey the competition.
