I mean they're not as bad as the News of the world, but there's some utter rubbish in there a lot of the time. Every day they find a new way to say Ronaldo will leave United, and it happened with big-name players from other clubs too.

anyways arsenal are now being linked with the defender Raul Abiol and Huntelaar as well as Niko Kranjcar and Kamel Ghilas...also wenger is lookin to sign a 3rd choice keeper after almunia and fabianzki

well looks like one of your fav players might be moving to arsenal this summer...i don't think spurs will go for him as they have already bought modric for a hefty £15mil which could go up to £20mil cos of clauses...so that leaves arsenal in a very good position to go for him but with that kind of a price tag, i won't be at all surprised if wenger is put off...i mean his most expensive buy has been around 12.5mil if i am not mistaken and he must understand now that you must spend around 15-20mil on a talent that you know is gna come in and start performing straight away...the likes of afra, deigo, quaresma, villa and indeed robinho all fall in this category...modric was available as well but wenger was too late again...like he was for several other players that he keeps on mentioning (ronaldo as one of em)...also villa has declared his intrest in playing for arsenal and if i was wenger i would bite his hands off...he a exceptionly clinical player and i think we need that after 100s of chances gone begging this year which would have been put away by the likes of villa...

so PLEASE wenger buy some quality that is gna have an affect straight away, not in 10 years time...

I agree......I love wenger and love arsenal and the way we play but he cant keep saying 'Next year we will win' 'I am looking forward to the future'

yes arsenal have an amazing future but if we cant win trophies now what is the point, I honestly cannot see him buyinh any REALLY big names, but I hope he does as I want arsenal to win big this year.

- I cant see him buying a striker as we have RVP - Adebayor - Bendtner and Eduardo

well eduardo will be out for half of the season, RVP is very injury prone (as shown yet again against derby), bendtner is still too young and his finishing a bit wayward (not to mention stopping other team mates from scoring)

and than theres adebyor...i agree hes done superbly this season scoring 31 goals so far with 2 games to go and being the 2nd highest goal scorer in PL but still the amount of chances he has missed in vital games such as manure, chelski and pools have cost us the matches...and another clinical striker to go with him or when he's not firing can take this team places...

on a sidenote we keep on taking lead such as against manure and chelski but than give it away and ulitmately lose the match...i dunno what this is up to but i would put it up to lack of concentration from the youngsters again suggesting that we shoud buy some experienced stars

well i dont know......Arsene said he was very happy with his 4 strikers...this however does not mean he will not buy one and I am very much hoping we will buy Villa or another quality striker. Also I think that Arsenals issues could be due to lack of power.....whether that means we get another quality midfielder i dont know

To fellow Utd fans, do you think we need to buy anyone in the close season?

We need to get rid of sicknote and get in a striker that doesn't get injured waking up. Maybe someone like Fabiano from Sevilla, with him, Rooney, Tevez, Manucho and Wellbeck as back up, I think we'd be ok.

Only other position could be right back, however, Brown's signed a new contract, so maybe not.

I haven't had a chance to see Manucho, is he really as good as everyone is saying?

Edit: Why don't we try and grab Messi? He's sure to want to leave Barca after the season they've had and he'd link up well with Tevez: also having a fellow countryman in the team will help him to settle. Can you just imagine Ronaldo and Messi in the same team, not to mention Tevez, Rooney, Scholes......
