If Ronaldo leaves United they are screwed, he is irreplacable. I think it is a possiblilty if United fail to win the Champions League.
United are not a team which always does all it can to hold onto it's best players - Beckham and van Nistelrooy being examples of this. It took United a while to properly recover from the loss of Beckham and for Ronaldo to settle in, I think losing Ronaldo would make an even bigger impact.

Ferguson would never give up on Ronaldo he would just keep raising the wages.

Arsenal fans, this isn't FM, you can't just go out and buy who you want all the time.

A) He's going nowhere this summer, he actually said he's happy here and that he doesn't want to go. He then said that you never know what will happen which is fair enough, if Madrid came in with a ?100 million bid, the gimps would probably except on the behalf of Fergie. The media just have to twist things around to try and get a story, but people believe whatever the media have to say so think he's on his way. Next summer might be a different proposition, but he won't go this summer.

B) We got rid of Beckham and Ruud after they fell out with Fergie. Players move on, United and the fans will stay, there's so much young talent coming through. I think it was proved that Beckham had peaked really anyway, Ronaldo came and the lad's not exactly done bad has he? The real problem at that time wasn't getting rid of Beckham, or Ronaldo's settling time, it was the shocking quality of players we got in. Djemba x2, Bellion, Miller and Kleberson. Ruud going got us playing a more attacking style of football again.

I agree with Phil, I read the interview and it was blatant he hadnt said he would move, if they did offer 100milion it would be impossible to turn it down but otherwise I cant see him moving

I'm a little wary about what Ronaldo said about 'seeing what happens after the CL final'. Maybe he's saying he'll be tempted by Real Madrid if we don't win the game? As for 100m, that's the minimum I'd accept, taking into account the player's age, current ability and where he'll likely be in a few years time. If Real do come in for him, we have to fight like hell to keep him. I think going to Real at this stage will be a mistake, they're in a bit of a mess as far as Europe goes right now.

what do you mean by

I think he means just because Arsenal are being linked with 4-5 players does imply that they'll land all of them.
Yeah, exactly, I mean if we bought every player we were linked with we'd have about 10 strikers.

Ronaldo won't go this summer, he can't say its impossible that he goes because you never know whats around the corner, but he'll stay until at least next summer.

well i was just talking about the ones that are STRONGLY linked with a move

The same for us, we've been strongly linked with players like Robben (pre-chelsea), Bosingwa, Huntelaar, Ronaldinho (very strongly), Michael Owen, oh and Torres last summer before he went to the scousers.

These players have actually hinted at a desire to play for Arsenal, especially Toure.

With Toure, his brother playing for Arsenal is enough of an incentive to come plus Barca are willing to let him go.

Doubters as to whether Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Man Utd or not, whats wrong with you? Ronaldo has 4 years left on his contract, therefore the only way he could leave until 2012 is if Sir Alex Ferguson says he can leave. The chances of him letting Ronaldo leave are as close to zero as you can possibly get. Ronaldo saying he wouldn't mind a move to Spain has no relevance whatsoever.

Yeah, I wasn't really questioning the Toure move, that could realistically happen. Not sure if you'll get Ben Arfa or Nasri, or if Wenger is even interested in Kompany though.
