Football Transfers Thread

I wonder how much Liverpool have. Benitez said he would have to sell to buy.
He's spent enough to be honest, since he's been here he's spent more than United, then comes out with a load of shite about United's spending power. Infact since 1992, Liverpool's net spending is more than United's. He's a deluded fat Spanish waiter.

Link if you're interested: Transfer League

I'm trying to post it as much as he states otherwise, I imagine you'll see it a lot more.:D

Rumoured that Real Madrid will be spending 300million euros this summer. Florentino Perez apparently wants Kaka, Ribery, Silva, Villa, Alonso and Ronaldo. Obviously he won't get them all, but if he manages to pick up most of the guys he wants, and sells the players he doesn't then Madrid will have one hell of a team next season! Gonna be an exciting summer for transfers.

Joke club. That applies to both City and Madrid.

Here's to hoping Barca win the league again and City finish outside the top 6 so football wins.

What a bitter bitter fan.

Anyways I do not know about the rest but the Kaka deal is getting more and more and more likely. Although I am afraid Kaka might do a U-turn at the last moment, yet again.

It makes no sense to me. Why would he want to go to the Spanish league when he had the chance to come to England and try and prove himself in the best league in the world? A player who has not made it in the Premier League cannot be considered great.

Probably because the only team interested in him were City, and I don't think any self respecting footballer would leave a successful side like Milan just for the money. It's thought that Chelsea are interested in him, but I can see him going to Milan, he'll be a much bigger star there, just like Zidane was when he joined Madrid. Talking of Zidane, is he not a great player then Lee? Considering he never made it in the Premier League. Maldini? Raul? Roberto Carlos? Luis Figo? Are none of those greats players?

That's right. They are all very good players, but they can't be great unless they have played in the Premiership.

Lee are you serious? Does that mean Pele, Maradonna and Eusebio can't go down as greats then? The Premier League wasn't the strongest league around when Zidane, Figo, Maldini etc were at their prime, so surely they should gain more credit for playing in the strongest leagues at the time. They were definitely greats.

How about Madrid sort out their woeful defence to start with?

Pele, Maradonna and Eusebio were around before the Premier League. They were greats.

One of the worst comments I have ever heard!

As for the worlds best league almost everyone will always say their league is the best. Although I do agree the English league is exciting and successful (Can be backed with their success in the champions league)

I would say Spain and England are both joint top with the best league in the world.

Someone like Ronaldo of Brazil who was Fifa world player of the year 1996, 1997, 2002 but wasn’t a great because he didn’t play in the premiership and someone like Messi, Ronaldinho.. etc

That’s a joke of a comment
