I'm sorry but Tevez wants to stay in England, and he's a top 4 player. He's not going to not upset United fans wherever he moves in this country, simply because it'll be to one of your biggest rivals. It's not his fault he's been treated appaulling by United but wants to stay in this country.

Animator, please enlighten me as to how Tevez has been treated, as you put it, "appallingly"?

I'm gonna laugh my head off if the 'Ronaldo Out' brigade starts up again this Summer. When he's flirting with Madrid 'he's not worth the hassle' but when he's banging in the goals left, right and centre as well as conducting interviews with himself which is just 'hilarious', it's all fine and dandy. Now he might be flirting with the thought of Madrid, it's 'Ronaldo feck off' again.

It looks very bad for the Utd/Ronaldo relationship if he didn't wear the club's tie on the way back from the CL Final, whereas everyone else did.
 You're not seriously reading anything into that are you? Christ, Gary Neville had 2 buttons undone, does that mean he's angling for Danny Alves' spot?;) Nothing to read into the tie business. He'll be staying this summer, no question about that, just hope we don't have to go through the tedious media circus of last summer.

Unfortunately, Barca would never accept the Iniesta deal anyway.;)

As for Tevez, if he goes to the dippers, sorry, but that's his bridges burned and he can expect a cold reception at Old Trafford next season. If he's as in touch with the fans' as he says he is, then he'll understand why and won't go there.

If Tevez goes to Liverpool he can go fuc himself. He wouldn't have gone from Boca to River so why should he do it to united fans. I doubt he'll do it though.

I think some of this modern footballers, especially the foreign ones, dont care about this rivalries. Tevez is probably looking at the Liverpool move as getting more first team action, playing under a Spanish coach, and playing with more Spanish players. I think he will see it as a good move for his career unless he gets some sort of assurance that he will get what he wants at OT. I dont believe the wrath of the Manure fans is going to stop what is clearly a good move for his career.

I would love to have him at Real, but we just have too many strikers, and I dont want us to spend the money in areas where we are already strong.

It's inevitable that there'll be the same media speculation as last summer, apart from this time it'll be about both Ronaldo and Tevez, rather than just Ronaldo. It pisses me off, but it's part of having these big players, I guess. I think they'll both stay, but I do think United will sell players this year. Not sure who, but probably Nani and Kusczcak, Neville will probably retire and it's believed Stoke want Scholes as a player-coach. Not sure he'll go, but it's an interesting bit of 'speculation'. There's also rumours of Ji Sung Park going, but I can't see that, he's been a vital part of the squad this season.

It's not just the tie though; the expression in his eyes conveys a player that's had enough. As for the media circus; prepare yourself, because it will happen. You know what those retards can be like. And Tevez? If he goes to Liverpool, then he betrays all he's ever said about loving Man Utd.

Nani hasn't kicked on at all, has he? I don't know if he's got a future at Man Utd.

I do, but the fact he would happily stay at United means he shouldn't be treated like someone like Ince.

To be fair, I don't think Utd have treated him very fairly; but going to Liverpool will just be seen as a betrayal by most Utd fans.

Remember, it was a matter of a week or so that he was saying that he's definitely staying at Utd! Now, it's 'I don't know....my main aim now is the national team, I don't want to talk about clubs'. I'm not saying 'Ronaldo Out', but I do think he'll go now; not that I want him to because I don't. It is a bit annoying though, all these constant changes of heart. Actually, there's nothing wrong with a change of heart; it's that he makes them public all the time that gets annoying.

Apparently, Nedved has delayed his retirement for another season, and is close to signing a contract with Juve for another year.

NO ......... :(

It was only a rumour. Nedved is leaving us, he has now made it official that tomorrow will be his last game :(

Moving to another club is one thing; moving to (them) is something else entirely. He could easliy be the last piece in their jigsaw...

Exactly. He hasn't played as much as he should've done, but to say his treatment has been appalling is nonsensical.

"I am staying".

That'll do for me.:)

Tevez has had a pretty poor season to be fair (and he's played more than enough games). He's coming out with these statements that he's been treated unfairly, sorry, but if Ferie doesn't think you should start, that's his decision as manager.

Tevez hasn't been treated badly, he's been treated exactly the same as the other strikers, Rooney and Tevez and has probably started and played in a similar number of games. He needs to understand that when there's three world-class strikers in a squad, with the addition of Ronaldo who can also play up front and young talent such as Macheda, Welbeck etc. then you're not going to start every game, it's as simple as that. He must also understand that in the midst of a credit crunch, a team aren't going to simply shell out ?25m for your signature, they're of course going to try and get the fee down. His attitude is turning out to be quite poor to be honest, and I hope it's just media speculation and exaggeration.

Spot on.:)

Yes realised that myself. Would have been nice though if he stayed and tried for the Scudetto next season. Laurent Blanc is being linked as manager, and I think he'll do well. But at the end of the day, only a miracle can prevent Inter from winning the title, now that they have made some awesome signings, and Ibra is staying as well.
