He will NOT bang any goals in. I doubt he'll play more than 15 games. I don't give a toss about him playing for the dippers, end of the day he's a crap player. This means we won't be getting a good striker at all. Great.

Well, it looks like he's coming either way. What will you do if he scores, especially if it's a winning goal? Give him a chance, he was in an awful team at Newcastle and had the most terrible luck with injuries. You never know, he could end up being like Henrik Larsson, when he came to us.

What do you make of the Valencia signing, Phil? He did always seem to cause us trouble at Wigan.

Look, if I'm wrong and it turns out to be a masterpiece, then I'll hold my hands up and say I'm wrong (and I hope that happens too), I just can't see it. I'd say it's more to do with him being injury prone himself. I was for the Larsson signing, but he'd been playing Champions League football with Barcelona 6 months earlier.

As for Valencia, I'm pretty pleased with it, he's a good player and I'm not sure who else we could have got to replace Ronaldo. I would say we need another winger though as Valencia was lined up before Ronaldo was going.

Fair play to you, that's all you can say to be fair. Who do you think we can go for re another winger? The choices are limited, aren't they? Maybe we would've got Ribery if ZZ Top had kept his gob shut. How about having a go for Robben from Real, he was excellent at Chelsea?

I have no problem with us getting Owen. He ain't gonna cost much and if he finds some form he'll be decent. Not like he'll be a bad influence for the Youngsters either.
