Apparently madrid are trying to get C.Ronaldo on his shirt but hes refusing to do it cause he thinks hes the real ronaldo. Means all the fans are just wearing their old ronaldo 9 shirts and real losing out

Sport are claiming that Barca have signed Zlatan for 40 million euros + Samuel Eto'o and Hleb. Hleb joins for a season long loan.

Now as a Real Madrid fan I know its kind of stupid to comment about people paying crazy transfer fees, but I find this above deal a bit insulting to Samuel Eto'o. He scored 30 goals in la liga last season, just 2 behind pichichi winner, Forlan. They were looking at around 15-20 million euros for Eto'o so effectively that would mean they signed Zlatan for 55-60 million euros. And Zlatan scored 25 goals in Serie A last season, which is not bad, but is less than Eto'o.

And before anyone starts the 'he is younger' crap, Zlatan is 27 and Eto'o is 28.

I am not saying signing the Swede is bad, but the deal is just stupid.

Lol please are you actually complaining with other clubs spending high? When your club has spent over 150 million? You can probably say same about players on your team like Van Nistelrooy he scored many goals in previous seasons with Madrid but you'll probably get rid of him as he had bust up with Ronaldo in their Man Utd days, I cant see Ruud staying.

That's true, because they both wear the No.9 shirt, don't they? Ha,ha! Never mind, Real.

By the way, apparently Beckham has said he'd like to sign for Utd (indeed, it's the only Premiership club he'd sign for - bit of a U turn after he said that he'd consider playing against us for another Premiership club). Now, I don't know how true it is, but if it is accurate, what do you guys think? I'd love him to come home to Man Utd - we need someone to replace Ronaldo's freekicks and his crossing and passing are still second to none. Shame he'd miss out on the No.7 shirt...

Also, does anyone know about this striker we've signed from a Norweigan club? Either way, I remember when we once signed an unknown striker from Norway, and he turned out to be pretty good. He wore the No.20 shirt and scored some rather important goals for the club.

Edit: Eto'o for Ibrahimovic? Idiots, Barca! Eto'o is a much better player. I've never rated Ibrahimovic: every time I've seen him play, he hasn't impressed at all and he was terrible in the games against us.

I'm not that big a fan of Eto'o but if are willing to swap him for Ibrahimovic, they need their heads testing. Massively overrated.

A straight swap would have been fine but 40mil + Eto'o for someone who is at the most of the same quality is not a very smart move, unless Eto'o still is creating problems in the dressing room.
