Football : French Ligue 1 transfers in 2012/2013 season

The site's yet to update Verratti's move to PSG for 12m euros, who just passed his medical.

Anyway,

PSG's net expenditure this summer -> 80m euros on 3 players
Sum total expenditure of the other 19 teams in Ligue 1 -> 42m euros

Keep in mind Ibrahimovic's move to PSG is yet to be tallied. PSG would have hit 100m euros once he's put pen to paper to the French capital. :lol

Not long ago Milan were laughing at Inter's horrid season. What goes around comes around, they might be a laughing stock next season if they don't act quick. I don't think Tevez would want a move to Milan now. But his past suggests he's been a highlight for teams in Transition.

Juventus are getting as stronger as Milan are getting weaker by the days. Sources have it that they've all but landed Udinese's Armero - easily last season's best LB in Serie A. Means Mr. Ashton Kutcher aka Paolo De Ceglie will almost certainly be relegated to the bench, which's harsh for a player who had a monstrous second half of the campaign, and would have definitely made Italy's squad for the Euros, had he not been injured. But then, that's Conte's Juve for you.

juventus invested in their own stadium meaning that as of last season they'll probably bring in three or four times as much on match day as any other italian club (yeah, surprisingly it makes that much of a difference).

milan have a massive commercial arm but the fact the council owns their stadium always dents their profits, juventus will probably dominate italy financially in the near future.

Oh yeah, and if RVP does want to leave, let him. Will be interesting to see how he does on your bench. Replaceable for sure, Cesc was much more important to us and we survived his exit.

However, it is nothing like forcing an atheist to go to church. The only comparable thing to your example is when Mohammad Yousuf was forced to convert to Islam.

If a player wants to go he shouldn't have signed a long term contract. I've no sympathy for players at all in that regard.

Sigh, 'least Milan are likely to get Dzeko and/or Berbatov in return. Also Rolando from Porto seems to be on his way to the San Siro as well.

Suddenly there's a decent looking XI for you, good enough to finish in the Top 3.

Honestly Joe Allen is class, but I don't really see the point in signing him, especially with Aquilani, Henderson and Spearing all in our ranks to cover for Lucas and Gerrard.

Goal.com is awful journalism. It's not too different from Caught Offside in quality.

But they got Kayla Anna-lee as their presenter. ;)

Eh, you know how those 1 AM analogies are. :rolleyes

Really hope van Persie doesn't sign with us, 1. we don't need him and 2. we already get enough hate from Arsenal fans for buying all their main players.

Ye that looks good for Milan, hopefully those signing become reality soon. Would hate to see such a legendary club plummit.

On Allen, well he is certainly more impressive than Henderson and Spearing. But even so as you said with Lucas, Gerrard, Adam, Aquilani also around, Rogers gotta think hard who he really wants in his field.
