Rodgers won't bow down to his request though, it's what happens with loan signings. You can't let them get too important in the team as they'll be gone before you know it. Sahin's loan never had a buy clause anyway.

He is quality cover really, nothing more.

True, but does he really have much of a future at Real? I mean, Xabi Alonso is ahead of him...

Yes, Sahin is 24 and Xabi Alonso is 31. From the start both player and manager have wanted him to stay at Real.

Xabi Alonso can play for quite a while, as he doesn't rely at all on his physical ability like most of the Spanish magicians, but he'll definitely need a breather now and then so rotation will benefit them both.

Modric is the long term successor to Alonso. Sahin looks like he's gonna be another Gago/Granero etc

Exactly how I see it. Gago was loaned out and so Sahin was brought in, now Sahin's been loaned out and Modric has been brought in...

In other news, we've apparently signed a guy called Stopilla Sunzu. He scored the winning penalty against the Ivory Coast in the AFCON. I don't even know where he plays, but I like his name:lol. Hopefully we sign Yaya Banana too to go with him, if he's a CB I like a CB pairing with a guy called Banana and Stopilla.

Seems like no unfortunately...:(

Foot- Transferts - Sunzu snobe Arsenal pour Reading

According to his twitter, he thought he was going to sign for us.

Either way, I saw some youtube vids and he looks a great player, brilliant passing range and definitely strong and pacey. Great reputation as well, he has had guys like Drogba and Gyan in his pocket.

I read on goal.com that Robert Lewandowski is moving to Manchester United next summer. I'm wondering why Sir Alex needs another striker when he already has Rooney, RvP, Chicharito and Welbeck in his team. IMO he should invest on Mats Hummels and a good left back.

I stopped right there.

I'd love to see Welbeck out on loan, for good. He should've stayed at Sunderland, if that happened we'd still have Berbatov. Macheda is still a fierce option, hasn't had many chances but he'll come good if he stays on at United. But the order isn't likely to change unless Chicha makes it to the starting line-up regularly. Welbeck and Macheda will have to wait.

United, should they invest heavily on Defenders and youth must have eyes on Alaba, Varane and Inigo Martinez. Three solid guys at the back, suit United's style perfectly. We can have Rio and Vidic for a foreseeable future but they will have to hang up. There's a good defence of brits in Evans, jones, Smalling, Wootton so someone like Varane would be a great addition to mix up with Fabio and Rafael.

Tip, don't trust goal.com, they are 100% wrong about everything. When they start linking Arsenal to Falcao and Cavani you know something is up.

Malaga are out of Europe next season, adding even more reason for Natxo Monreal to leave. He is a superb left back and would be great for you guys.

IMO Man Utd need a central midfielder still as well as the CB, more pressing than the LB but the LB can be picked up too.

Sky Sports and BBC to an extent is all I ever trust. Nothing beats Skysports' transfer clockwatch:

Football Transfer Clockwatch | Sky Sports

This, I also use well known Arsenal twitter ITKs, I'm sure you could find some good Man Utd twitter ITKs.

Watch matches on Sopcast, and use Wiziwig.tv | Free Live Sports Streams on your PC. Watch Live Football, MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL and more... to find Sopcast channels. Wiziwig also has web streams, but I prefer using Sopcast.

Why the hell would you want that? Welbeck is the best player Utd have produced through their ranks for a long time. Also, Macheda isn't close to good enough and would have been sold by now if he hadn't scored that goal.
