he's owned by a 3rd party. he has very little say where he goes. his preference is essentially irrelevant.

I'd rather see him go to Monaco.

I heard a rumour a few days ago that Falcao is going to Monaco so that he can go to Real Madrid a year or two from now. A bit of a loan deal I guess and he gets a tonne of money as well. Atletico obviously won't sell to Real so he has no choice.

And that could aid Monaco too, a decent arrangement if its true.

Oh, it's another one of those situations. :facepalm

Incidentally, rumours are going round that Chelsea will try and hijack any Utd move for Ronaldo; it's clear that the relationship between Mourinho and Ronaldo has become rather... strained this season, so why the heck would he want to follow him to Chelsea? Also, Ronaldo has often said he'd like to return to Utd at some point - moving to Chelsea would completely scupper any chance of that happening.

Probably Monaco.

I can see that, but if Real want him bad enough, they can just meet his ?54m release clause... speaking of which, we've apparently met it already? :rolleyes

I think that Falcao's move to Real Madrid is just a rumour , won't it effect Benzema's and Higuain's career at Rm ? or just trying to make some $$$ ?

That's interesting, but his wages?

Don't mind Toure provided he's prepared on taking a massive wage cut, which Liverpool Echo reports he is. Most certainly won't start games either.

Could be a good deal if he does take the reported massive wage cut. Otherwise, could end up like Joe Cole.

Liverpool are closing in on Kolo Toure on a free...

He is shaky now but still a decent experienced replacement for Carragher. I think Liverpool need another CB though unless Coates is ready to step up to the first team.

Good squad player to have around, so a good signing for Liverpool I think.

Fernandinho keen on City switch - ESPN FC

This is happening if the right fee is met, which is tough I suppose with Shakhtar playing hard ball...

Napoli hold talks over Dzeko and Cavani - ESPN FC

No swap deal(+ money) on the cards, and I personally can't see Dzeko at Napoli, but Cavani at City...

Shaktar are tough to deal with though.

15 M for Carroll seems like a good deal.
